The Château of Chantilly is a historic Château, part of the Domain of Chantilly, the princely estate in France.This historical building, consisting of 2 parts that are connected into one Château, is open to the public every day but Tuesday. It houses the Condé Museum with one of the finest collection of ancient painting in France (second after the Louvre museum), and a collection of printed and manuscript books, including “The very rich hours of Duke of Berry” (1412, Limbourg). The visitors can separately purchase a guided tour of Grand Apartments of Princes Condé, cousins of French Kings. The Domain of Chantilly also offers you to enjoy a walk in its gardens of various styles or watch an equestrian show in the Grand Stables, one of the most beautiful in the world. Guests can purchase the tickets for the whole Domain as well as for its separate parts.How to get there? From Paris by car -Highway A1, exit ChantillyOr by train - from the North Railway Station (Gare du Nord), 24 min till Chantilly-Gouvieux.
