Spreading over 14 hectares, Coucy originally included 33 towers and ramparts stretching over two kilometres. The ruins remain an impressive and evocative reminder of Coucy’s grandeur despite being badly damaged in the First World War. Its sumptuous interiors were created by prestigious artists at the behest of the Princes of Savoie. Read about its fascinating history: the Princes of Condé, Richelieu, Olympe and her mysterious “powders”. You will be hugely impressed by the "Watteau" wing and its recently discovered frescoes, the Servandoni ballroom and the drawing room decorated by Oudry with its unforgettable “magic” mirror. « less

« less
