Central Luzon Region Attractions: What to do & Places to Visit in Central Luzon Region
"Always wanted to go in a microlight and hadn't heard about ultralights until I came across this place and well for me it's the same thing, you sit in the open 'cockpit' and go for fly around. It's really cool and not a bit scary. Without doubt the best thing we've done in the Philippines (so far). R..."eally great bunch at the club that tell you everything you might want to know.
A beautiful experience, you won't regret it.
We hired our own scooter from Angeles to get here, but I understand they do a free pick up in the mornings

"I go to Angeles City Flying Club by myself on afternoon. Because I go alone and don't want to call a taxi(taxi at Angeles City is very expensive, tricycle also but you can bargain with the driver). So I goto bus terminal and ask for a jeepney that go to Magalang(from Marquee), only P$15!!! and then ..."take a tricycle to ACFC cost P$120. That is a relax and nice place. If you go on afternoon, you can wait the staff shuttle bus for send you back to SM Clark or around the city. Please remember to bring you swimming cloth to enjoy the swimming pool when you wait for shuttle bus. If you call a taxi from ACFC to SM Clark, maybe need P$1000, so spend a afternoon over there is a good idea. You can choose the plane for your flight and I highly recommend you try the Quick Silver. That plane is no shield to cover you. You can feel wind and have a best view for take photo & movie. Instructor will pass the control to you when situation is safe and you become a pilot!!! That is a very good experience i...

Arayat [an extint volcano], the club is one having the largest fleet of ultralight aircraft. You have the option of chooing 20 minutes, 30 minutes, 45 minutes recreational fligh..."ts. You go upto the hight of 600 FT [as space above is commercial airspace]. But even at this hight you feel the thrill of stiiting in an open cockpit mini plane, with a voew to the green fields, a silent little volcano which has been sleeping for ages.
You are given controls of the aircraft [assited by your instructred and chief pilot] to manouver it over the areas. Once you get the controls you realize how sensitive your aircraft is to your actions. You may not actuall realise the speed but a sudden dip down or shoot up wil make you feel.
The most exciting part if when the instructor asks you to fly the plabe over the curse of the river or follow a road ! It feels like you are playin...
