  "The locals in Saas Fee make the village. Everyone is very friendly, you can tell a lot of the shops are owner occupiers which makes a big difference to the usual ski season staff other resorts get in. The village is picturesque, traditional, quiet and yet plenty of atmosphere. We prefer here to Zerm..."att which is also lovely but people make a place. The skiing is very good. The ski area is not as vast as Zermatt, but the slopes do cater for every kind of skier and there is enough for a weeks stay. The reds are plentiful, wide and often easy. There are only a couple of blues but they are very long and flowing and very good with a variety of blue challenges and very good for boarders. There seemed to be a few excellent blacks but we didnt ski those! The ski school had excellent facilities and the location was very good. I wish my boys had learnt here many years ago!
