  "I arrived in Elba via a Windsurf Cruise ship for 8 hrs. I had arranged with Riccardo, the dive shop owner, to have someone pick me up, which they did in a timely manner and drove me 5 min to the dive shop across the bay. Upon arriving at the dive shop next to a upscale hotel motel, I met with Ricca..."rdo and Lisa, the divemaster assigned to me. Both spoke English well. After a 10 min boat ride on their well equipped RIB with DAN emergency equipment, we made our first dive next to a small rock island in a beautiful part of the bay. The marine life was abundant with many large starfish, scorpionfish, huge bivalves and barracuda. After the dive, I was directed 4 blocks over to a very local Italian resturant which offered very tasty pasta. Our second dive at the same site had a full boat and I was paired with a diver who had issues getting past 30 feet which was disappointing but that's the way it goes and was not the shops fault.
