As part of a £3.5 million investment pledge over the next 4 years, Pleasurewood Hills has four new rides for 2013. Significant resource has also been spent refurbishing the Theme Park making it an even more vibrant place for a day out for all the family. New rides for the 2013 season will include: Hobs Pit - one of the most scary rides in the UK – not for the faint hearted - coming soon. Pleasurewood Paddlers - the return of the pedalos to Pleasurewood Lake. Woody's Tea Party - a traditional family tea cup ride and Moby Dick – climb on board for mariners fun for the youngsters.Since 2011 when the Looping Holding Group, who own seven attractions across Europe, took over the park, a total of nine new rides and attractions have been added to Pleasurewood Hills. Last year saw the following new rides and attractions being introduced:The Jolly Roger – a 40 metre drop tower, their highest exhilarating ride yet. The Lighthouse – a thrilling kid’s shoot-up-tower propelling you above the tree tops. Pleasurewood Pony Rail – a gentle family fun ride. Laser Labyrinth – an adrenaline fueled indoor laser game and Illusionist Magic Show – performed by Britain’s Got Talent star, Sean Alexander in the Castle Theatre. Day visitors also have the opportunity to ride ‘Wipeout’, the tallest, fastest and most extreme rollercoaster in the East of England!

"We (two adults, two girls aged 10 and 8) visited on Saturday 18th May. This was our third visit and probably the best yet.
The cloudy and cool (but dry) weather kept the crowds away so there were no queues, which is always good. I have always hated long queues at theme parks as you don't feel yo..."u get value for money when you spend half yoru day waiting to get on rides. In fairness, the queues here have never been too bad even in the summer but the lack of them this time certainly meant we got more done.
Lots of good rides for kids here and also a few good thrill ones for teens and adults. Mine and the girls' favourite was Enigma; it was the first time we had been on it; a really fast twisty ride. We didn't get to go on it the first two times we visited as the queues were too long (the car only takes 8 people at a time). I hear that they are working on improving the ride to eventually add a second train to it, which would certainnly help with the waiting times.

"Had a lovely day out, shows were fab- rides were great for small kids & fun for adults too and no queues for any rides- bonus! Only disappointment was food places closing at 3.30pm when we wanted to sit down & eat! "
"Definitely worth a visit, we had a great day out here & there is plenty to see & do! Great variety of animals which you get fantastic views of. Free train takes you round park aswell & petting area is good for kids. Outside & inside play areas for kids.
Well worth a visit, although at the entry pri..."ce it's a bit cheeky to then expect you to pay a donation on top.
Would return if we are ever back in the area!!
