Famagusta Attractions: What to do & Places to Visit in Famagusta
"Wasn't sure what to expect but loved this tour. Really opens your eyes to the troubles in Cyprus. Our Greek/Cypriot guild was brilliant. Highly recommend. "
"A most amazing archaeological site - a whole ancient Greek city covering a huge area over which you can wander (and wonder) freely.
Some areas have been sympathetically restored (but not overly so), some left as they were excavated.
The site is so vast, that even if there are several coach parties..." there, you hardly notice them.
There are no refreshment facilities on site (restaurant just outside the entrance) so take plenty of water; you could spend most of a day here and not see all of it.
Good beach adjacent for a refreshing swim afterwards.
