Located in one of the oldest streets of central Amsterdam and around the corner of the Red Light district. With its typical Amsterdam bell-gable, this house is a miniature version of the majestic canal-side houses Amsterdam is so famous for. The Smallest House in Amsterdam is built in 1738 (approx.) And is only 2.02 Meter (6 ft., 7.5 In.) Wide, 5 meters (16 ft. 4.0 In.) Deep and approximately 8 meters (26 ft. 2.5 In.) High. Some people even say it is the smallest house in Europe! What ever it may be, the fact is that this small house on Oude Hoogstraat 22, is one of the most remarkable and hidden landmarks of the historical city of Amsterdam. Nowadays you will find here a tasteful tea and ceramics boutique. With fine teas, ceramics and specialties from Holland. « less

« less
