This builing dates back to the 16th century and the architecture is particularly lovely in its use of the local ocre stone for the facade. Parking (du Seyon) is located 2 minutes away and we are just down the hill from the train station. Our monthly exhibitions invite internationally known artists, but we don't forget to launch talented up-and-coming artists in the 5 arts: fine, street, performing, "the word" in all its forms, including the graphic arts, and fine artisan-arts such as blown glass, sculpture, etc. Ours is a warm welcome with a cup of tea or coffee in a relaxed atmosphere where peace and beauty encourage discussions about the works exhibited. A monthly concert is usually held on the last Thursday of the month and for the less than perfect English speakers who wish to maintain their English, we offer an Itsy-Bitsy English Tea Room for a couple of hours on Tues, Wed and Thurs. Contact us for all the details about these and other artistic and cultural events, then do join us! We believe visiting the gallery will remain a highlight of your trip to Switzerland. « less
