Every day, AMALFI MUSICAL tells a story set in ninth century about the rise of first Republic of Amalfi. Through the story of Antonio and Giovanna's love, thwarted by perfidious city's persecutor Sicardo, the show tells the story of Amalfi's liberation from bloodthirsty Lombard supremacy. The performance is in Italian language with surtitles in English and other languages. Reservation required.

"My family and I took this tour after our ship stopped in the port of Naples or Napoli. Pepe' was an excellent driver for us on this tour. We saw the amazing Amalfi coast, the weather was OK, overcast with some rain, so I imagine in the pure sunlight, the coast would be even more beautiful. We did ..."stop in Pompeii for about 2 hours, and tried to use the Rick Steve's guide for Pompeii. Be advised, though the tour itself provides great information, there are many detours that constantly change at Pompeii, and self-redirection can be very confusing. I understand the rented audio guide is no better and is also not updated for the detours. I think that using a private guide is probably the best option, but don't have a point of reference.
Overall the tour was a pleasure. The cost of the tour only covered the driver and the transportation itself, no guides, no dinner, no admissions fees however Pepe' did provide good information.

"Transfers from Naples Airport to our hotel in Amalfi and back, were extremely pleasant, stress-free and comfortable due to Anthony. A lovely man with a great personality. His driving style made the transfer very relaxing. Would definately recommend using Anthony, as we will be in the future."
"The cathedral is imposing and wonderful. The visit inside was refreshing in that you are encouraged to relax, rest and refresh your body, mind and soul. We feel that this is the most beautiful church on the Amalfi coast and is well worth the visit. The construction with its black and white stone is ..."striking.
