On our recent trip to Majorca we visited the Palma cathedral, commonly referred to as La Seu. Amazing building, beautiful glass windows. Very overcrowded but worth a visit!

Stayed for 2 hours and explored the very well preserved old town of Alcudia - in December it is really empty and most of the shops and restaurants are closed down - nevertheless, we did some local delicacy shoooing and had excellent lunch in downtown as well - most likely in summer too crowded - silent atmosphere in winter therefore still highly appreciated

    The caves are stunning.
I think that's a given from the previous reviews but it's hard to do justice in words or photos until you actually see it for yourself.
That is my slight issue, the seeing it and appreciating it part.
Entry is sold via time slots and each 'tour' is 1 hour culminating in a small concert by an orchestra on the lake. I was at the back of a tour, taking my time and photos and just generally meandering through but then the 'guides' get on at you to keep moving.

It made it feel rushed and hurried and spoiled it a bit for me. Its so beautiful I want to spend my time absorbing it and savouring it and I didn't feel allowed to do that.

Shame really as it just took the edge off an otherwise enthralling trip.

I would recommend it but be warned about the timescales!!

This is a pretty beach close to the center of town. People ride their bikes to get here, but you can also walk. Great place to watch the sunset, which is what we did.

It's definitely worth a visit, went as a couple with a 2 month old baby, it's very crowded in places and you might have to wait a little to see what you want, you have a photo taken at the entrance, I guess you do feel pressure to purchase, you're told they're optional to purchase but they do give you a lot of bother until you say yes, not a problem for us since we wanted the photo anyway. Not a chance can you spend a full 8 hours here though, we ended up taking a walk down to the beach and getting some food and drink.

Platja de Muro Beach is one of the best beaches on Mallorca. It is very long and there is a gradual slope into the ocean, making it easy for kids and easy to gradually go into the water.

Well worth the climb. Go off piste on the way down through the great woods. It’s well maintained, clean and informative.

We did 2 walks in 1 day out of Valldemossa. Puig de teix to Puig gros. Then Mola de sa comuna - Coll de sant jordi.
Amazing but challenging. Definitely download a map. We used AllTrails app.

A taste of the real Ibiza. Visiting the old town is time well spent with historic buildings, picturesque views and lovely bars /restaurants.
So glad we went and found this memorable place!

Extremely beautiful place that holds many tales. Perfect for couples or group of friends. The terrain might be a bit tricky, so kids and elderly have to be careful. Recommend coming in good time to get a good place of the view. In high season the place is packed at sunset and parking options are terrible.
