Owner description:
The Cathedral was built between the end of the 11th and the end of the 12th century to accommodate the influx of pilgrims who frequented this famous site. The 11th and 12th century Romanesque cloister adjoins the Cathedral, which was restored from 1994 to 1999. It is remarkable for its capitals and the polychromy of its arches. The tour continues in the mâchicoulis building which houses the collection of religious art (13th to 18th century). Designated world heritage site by UNESCO. Open:> 20th May to 22nd September: from 9 a.m. to noon and from 2 p.m. to 6.30 p.m. (open from noon to 2 p.m. in July and August).> 23rd September to 19th May: from 9 a.m. to noon and from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Last admission 30 minutes before closing time. Closed:> 1st January, 1st May, 1st November, 11th November and 25th December. Admission fees: Adults : 7,50 €; Concessions (18 to 25) = 4,50 €; Free admission: minors under 18*; Free admission: 18-25 years old* (citizens of one of the 27 countries of the EU or are non-European permanent residents of France) * excluding school groups
