"probably the most worthy museum of the city which make it international! the ticket is 5 euros, and you can visit the house of Bartholdi. There are explanation in 3 languages and a lot of explanations of each piece exposed. "
"What a brief respite! We had been walking all day touring the Colmar region and found this boat ride by accident. It was very peaceful and a nice break off our feet. It lasted about 30 minutes and our tour guide spoke very good english and gave us a little bit of history about Colmar, the region, ..."its people...which we were not expecting so that was an extra bonus. Just a beautiful boat ride and a great opportunity for picture taking. A bargain at 8 Euros..

"We arrived from Germany, the statue was standing right on our way, in the middle of the road. After 8-hours ride I thought I was hallucinating, because you can see at once that this is a real statue, not a moulage. I honestly did not know about Bartholdi being born in Colmar and having statues there...", so it was a nice surprise. If your travel companions do not know about the statue, don't rush to tell them, just bring them into the city through D83 (Route de Strasbourg), this is gonna be fun! I believe it is a must-see for anyone, who saw the original (as I did), and for all the Americans. Its like coming to the source.
