"We visited today with a 2 1/2 and a 4 year old. The children loved it loads of rides and on a nice sunny day the park was surprisingly quiet no queues and able to walk straight on the rides. Once your child is over 90cm they can go on most things and the park is well designed so if there is a ride t..."hey can't go on there is a little play park or something close by for them while the bigger ones are on the ride. There was some lovely indoor play areas, the children loved the one in the pancake station.
We unknowingly went on a zingzillas weekend kids enjoyed the show and meeting pansy and drum.
We had lunch in the all you can eat pasta and pizza buffet it was great fresh pizza, hot pasta and an ample salad bar I thought at £7.50 it was reasonably priced for adults.
We had a lovely day and would definitely visit again. I would purchase the all in tickets next time so lunch, a drink and ice cream is included would save a bit of money.

"Since moving to MK I have found it's one of those places whose reputation is set by those who do not live here and at most only visit the shopping centre. It is a most misunderstood place and quite contrary to its reputation in some areas. For example people think of it only as a metropolis, not hel..."ped by its iconic concrete cows. Even they have an interesting story behind them, blowing away the conspiracy myths circulating amongst the uninformed.
MK is in fact steeped in history and the MK museum exemplifies this in a way unimaginable. It is an historic house with a tonne of historical gadgets and furniture. It really is bursting to capacity with a well stocked collection. There is also a street re-enactment with various stores dressed up in classic victorian styles, where visitors are free to explore. I took along a camera which I had just bought, only to try it out thinking there wouldn't be much of (photographic) interest. But I ended up photographing a lot more than expected.

"It is well worth the 1-hour train trip from London to visit this place and spend a whole day. The history of the "decoders" is fascinating and the docents are well informed to answer even the most technical questions. The grounds are lovely, although many of the smaller buildings are undergoing mu..."ch-needed renovation. Several of the exhibits in the main building are currently being reorganized, so the sequence of the events described is a bit out. Nevertheless, after going through it you will have a good idea of the important work done here during WWII. Don't miss the Colossus reconstruction project and the Museum of Computing which are located in a separate building a short walk from the main visitor areas.
