We're a sort of cross, between a tourist attraction and a small independent museum. We have no connection to any other concerns and operate solely by self funding and public donation.Opening daily at Clarence Dock in Leeds, we encourage people to visit us and look around. It's free for children, whilst we ask for a minimum £1.00 donation from adult visitors. All the donations go towards the upkeep and running costs of the U-8047 TRUST and enable us to grant the free access to children. In addition to this, schools, collages, child groups, societies trusts and other children's charities etc, can arrange a private visit of up to 12 persons and their careers/chaperones. On these special visitations, the children will be given in depth lectures on of WWI and WWII submarine and u-boat history. « less
