Crazy Kiln is a relaxed and friendly paint your own pottery studio in the heart of the historic Warwickshire town of Kenilworth. Painting ceramics is a fun activity for all ages and Laura, Diana and the team will give you as much or as little help as you need to create your own unique piece of ceramic art. Your glazed pieces will be ready for collection a week after painting, but if you wish we are happy to post you your pottery. If you can't wait a week you can also paint with acrylics or decorate an item with Decopatch and take your piece home the same day. Crazy Kiln is a great place to hold a birthday party, family get together or hen party. We also offer clay workshops (including for schools and groups), a commission service, glass fusing and glass painting workshops and we specialise in both prints (hands, feet and paws) in clay and plaster outprints.

"We visited the castle on the 6th June, expecting the friendly welcome we usually receive at EH sites, but oh no, we were greeted by a young man who told me quite bluntly to put my membership ticket on the counter for him to scan, no please or thank you. We were not asked if we would like a video. ..."Now for the plus side – the gardens looked lovely and it was nice to go up in a lift in the Leicester gatehouse. Lovely to be able to take the dog around with us, other than th greetings we enjoyed our visit.

"The staff were very helpful and although there were many people attending an evening concert access was easy and when the concert finished leaving the venue was also at a decent pace.
My only irritation, was if you wanted and food/drink the waiting time was at least 15/20 mins for each wagon and the..."re were at least 6/7 different options, so maybe they could do with extra food supply wagons.

"Fun and interesting castle, nice grounds and good explanation of history, would have been 5* except I felt the entrance price was a little steep at £9(?) per adult "
