"Very good way to see Chester: good views of most of the city and you can enjoy refreshment close by and walk the next stage. I particularly loved the Cathedral gardens."
"Spent a day at Chester Zoo and can understand why this is currently the no1 attraction in Chester. This is the best zoo we have visited in the UK - the original vision 'a zoo without bars' in definitely in evidence with some really creative viewing areas put in place to see the animals. Animals seem..." really well cared for, a lot of thought and planning has gone into their enclosures and the emphasis on how the zoo helps with conservation is evident to see.Even if it is raining there are lots of things to do and the zoo is well laid out. Only minor grumble is having to pay extra for ride on the monorail (£14 round trip for 2A & 2C) round the zoo on top of the admission price - still if it all goes to a good cause then this may be worth it!.
