It is open Monday to Saturday from 10.00.a.m. to 4.30.p.m. and admission to the workshop, and glass blowing demonstrations are absolutely free during the day. Refreshments are available, and it is wheel-chair friendly, with accessible toilets. There is one of the finest collections of historic and valuable glass in the South West, arranged to show the whole history of English glass making from Roman times to the present day. This is the only venue in Bristol able to accept coach parties and large groups of visitors, although booking is advisable. Glass blowing and taster courses and Intermediate day courses are available, the only facility in Bristol to offer specialised courses in glass-blowing. Special activities are arranged in the school holidays for children. There is also the opportunity to buy glass-ware at factory prices. « less

We'd like to think that we have an eclectic shop that sells all things Mexican, ranging from authentic Mexican food, including Gluten-free corn tortillas to jewellery, hammocks to cards and glassware. Actually, our whole food section is pretty much a gluten-free heaven and shipments come in from Mexico on a regular basis, so stock is varied and changeable, but in an interesting way, rather than leaving you bewildered. Hopefully it's a perfect place to come if you want to buy something slightly different and interesting as a gift for a friend or loved one, putting a new and exciting spin on all the identi-gift shops you can find in the area. Ah, and have a go at your Spanish while you're visiting us! « less
