Overlooking the sapphire-blue waters of Lake Tahoe, Heavenly is one of the most unique snowsports destinations on the planet. With more terrain variety, more hidden glades, more rippin’ groomers than any Lake Tahoe resort, you've got plenty of decisions to make.

The Northstar-at-Tahoe™ Resort golf course in Lake Tahoe, California is an 18-hole, par-72 (men and women) course that will both challenge golfers’ skills and appeal to their senses. Designed by Robert Muir Graves, the course integrates Tahoe’s rugged, wooded landscape with wavy bunkers and putting greens. The result is an active golf course whose features create a flow of movement that seamlessly moves in and over the natural terrain.Playing up to 6,781 yards, the Northstar® Resort golf course offers four tee locations and carries a rating of 72.4 from the Northern California Golf Association. The Mountain nine demands precise, tight play through tree-lined fairways and across small greens. The Meadow nine opens up to a links-style course allowing golfers to grip it and rip it!

"We visited the Camino area of El Dorado, and what a great surprise. It's not Napa, and that's a good thing. John picked us up at our hotel, gave us some local info on the drive over, and told us about the region. Besides knowing the area, he is also very knowledgeable about wine in general. We drank...", we ate, and we laughed all day. If you want a tour with a personal touch, call John. He, nor the area, is pretentious, and that's a good thing.

"The views at Emerald Bay are exactly what you'd dream of at Lake Tahoe. They're breathtaking. The hiking is ideal for people who are somewhat active - the trails are easily marked and the maps are easy to follow. However, do not take on the hiking if you are not prepared to walk a few miles with ..."incline. If you're ready to get out and move a little, the views will be some of the best you encounter. Don't forget your camera!

"We drove around Lake Tahoe on our recent stay in Incline Village, NV. The views of Emerald Bay were breathtaking! There were several places to stop and look around. We took lots of pictures. There is a lodge at the base of the bay that you can only get to by walking a mile down the hill. We didn..."'t take the hike but our traveling companions did and they said it was worth the strenuous walk both down and up the hill.
