Maple Season : January - April Take the sugar shuttle (wagon ride) to and from the sugar bush at your leisure. Along the walk through the sugar bush you will learn all about the many species of trees that make our forest unique. At our Native Camp you will meet reenactors who will share the legend of the discovery of maple syrup, see how Pioneers learned the maple ways of the natives and used new tools to help sweeten their lives. It takes two to cut wood the old fashion way, as you learn how to be a lumberjack. A must have treat from the deep woods is maple taffy on snow, or a campfire roasted hot dog, then get lost in the sap line maze. Our musicians and re-enactors will keep you and your family entertained for hours. Enjoy some skating and tobogganing in a beautiful country setting on our Barnyard Skating Rink and toboggan hill. A wonderful way to spend a few hours on weekends in January and February.(weather permitting) Then, Come inside and enjoy our warm and friendly Maple Lodge for a Hot and Fresh all day breakfast. Pancakes are just the beginning at our farm, with all the Pure Maple Syrup you can enjoy. Year Round: Maple Sweet Shop Our Maple Sweet Shop is open all year long, to serve you with the best quality maple products possible. We hand make many maple products right on the farm; from the sweet (Maple Syrup, Maple Candies, Maple Butter...) to the savory (Maple BBQ Sauce, Maple Herb Dressing, Maple Vinegar...) we have something to please every taste bud. Free Tastings of our 4 grades of maple syrup, along with our other products made with pure maple syrup.

"Great wine, service, atmosphere and the bakery next door is amazing. If you are in Niagara, be sure to stop in for a little treat at the bakery, walk next door for some wine and enjoy the art exhibits they routinely have. "
"Ok so obviously you get the point ;) it is 5 cents! And YES! How do you go wrong??!!! :) You simply cant* IF you go to St.Kitts go to Port Dalhousie and enjoy :) IT is by the water...
I do think the beach tends to stink during the hot long summer.... But usually May June is safe... Enjoy the walk..." on the peer too :) it is nice, relaxing, likely in this time period you can still see Toronto as well. The carousel is beautifully done and preserved, and has always hired local college and university kids for the summer :) which is nice as well!

"We are lucky to be local. What can I say that hasn't been said so many times already in these reviews. First things first the carousel is only 5 cents a ride. 2nd it's located in a beautiful area near lake ontario. 3rd a nice sandy beach to walk or relax on. 4th a few shade trees to enjoy. 5th ..."a picnic pavillion (not the cleanest but there) 6th a place to fish away from any swimmers. 6th close to a few restaurants and bars an ice cream shop and a tim hortons. Only big problem is the one coming in now. The city has sold the simplicity to developers and they are going to put a huge condo building right beside the main entrance to lakeside park. I hope this enhances not detracts from the park. Unfortunately I see this as the begging to an end.
