The Petting Farm is no longer operating as it was not a permitted use of the property under local zoning bylaws. We do have animals on site as the farm is now being operated as a mixed working farm, and we are encouraging community involvement on our farm through seasonal events and Community Farm Days. In addition, we will soon be adding an on-site farm market as well as online sales of our farm products including eggs, fresh fruits and vegetables, free range grass fed beef, and alpaca fibre products. So while we are no longer able to offer a petting farm, we will continue to welcome children and families to the farm to experience a taste of life on a working farm on special days when the farm will be open to the public. However, we ask for your patience during this very busy first year while we get our feet under us and get our farm back into production. We hope you understand that our first priority must be getting our farm systems running smoothly before we can welcome visitors.Due to the amount of day to day work involved in operating a working farm, we cannot offer regular public access hours or tours at this time. However, you can stay in touch with us via our Facebook Page (See website link near top of listing) where we'll be announcing upcoming events and Community Farm Days. We hope to see you at the farm soon! « less
