Fabulous, but it was August 2022. Saw lots of Whales in perfect weather conditions. Excellent value for money and wonderful views.

    Wow! Wow! Wow!

As a local (Victoria) tour guide, I wanted to host my 45+ year out of town friends to a Whale Watching Tour this past October 2023. The tour could not have been better and the Whale Watching crew were fantastic. We spotted seals, sea lions, a large herring ball, cormorants, eagles, and several hump back whales! I believe the hump back whale was feeding on the herring ball while we were stopped. While we watched the herring ball being dive bombed by several species of birds, a humpback whale breached about 100 feet from our tour boat. A few guests along with the whale watching company photographer caught the whale breaching both still shots and video. After the initial frenzied/happy responses from everyone aboard, guests shared both photos and videos amongst all those aboard.

What an incredible day. My three long time friends and I will never forget this tour. A huge thank you to all the staff on board. I highly recommend this tour to anyone or any group wanting to experience an incredible day on the water.

We were in Vancouver for a Valentine's Day week get-away and really wanted to just get out on the water to see some views and wildlife... all of the whale watching excursions and harbour dinner cruises were closed until at least the warmer weather in May and June so we picked the Granite Falls Zodiac Tour by Vancouver Water Adventures... I used to work year-round out on the water on tugs in nearby Howe Sound and the islands so the available neoprene floater suits to keep us warm were a major "plus" in making the "yes" decision to go on February trip in an open boat up to the North Shore's Indian Arm... we bundled up and suited up and headed out in the super safe Zodiac inflatable boat... our guide did a great job of keeping the ride as smooth as could be by keeping an eye out and quartering the boat wakes, which were really the only chop on an otherwise pretty calm and partially sunny - but very cool on the water - day... the waterfall shown in the Tripadvisor photo is actually Silver Falls, which we saw on the way back and which is closer the the boat and which we would have liked to spend more time enjoying... in that the tour was 3 hours and we really wanted to just be out in nature, we would have preferred to spend less time exploring the commercial and industrial sites, docks and marinas in Vancouver Harbour and spend more time up Indian Arm... we left Indian Arm still being curious to see the Indian River estuary just north of the Wigwam Inn at the north end of Indian Arm... we very much appreciated the land recognition given by our guide that Vancouver and Vancouver Water Adventures is located on and the tour is through the unceded ancestral territories of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations... we thought the guide ought to mention as we departed the False Creek dock area heading out into English Bay that the Vancouver Museum and Planetarium and Vanier Park to the left are all on what was once Kitsilano Reserve No. 6 and that the families were forcibly relocated from their Squamish village of Sen̓áḵw in 1913... we were happy to have the opportunity to be out on the water on a cool February day to see Vancouver from the water and to see the seabirds and eagles and seals and waterfalls in the beautiful forested mountain fjord of Indian Arm and then to come back to the Granville Island Market area for a warm up with a fabulous restaurant meal as a wonderful part of the day... We would take the trip again!... thank you Vancouver Water Adventures!

The flowers are breathtaking. I went in late September. Want to come back during the summer with roses more in bloom. Also want to see at night!

This was probably one of the best things we have ever done! Being the Sunset Cruise made it extra special. We saw so many whales! And different kinds! The crew knew exactly where to go and went to move on. They were all so careful not to disturb the families of whales. We went out of Anacortes the year before and could only find one Minke all afternoon. Thank you for a great experience and all of the beautiful pictures.

Great place and Ken - our tour leader - very accomodating. The Butchart garden is georgious. However, because of time change, our schedule allowed us to spend only for one hour.

My mum and I went on a tour to Victoria in Vancouver Island on Saturday March 9th. We had a very lovely experience thanks to our guide Gary Cheng. Gary was very prompt at responding to our queries before the tour started re pick up time and location. On the day he was perfectly on time and we were able to spot the bus right away thanks to his exact vehicle description. During the tour he was friendly, engaging, accommodating and informative, and made our tour very memorable. We highly recommend the tour and our guide Gary.

We were extremely lucky to see several families of Orcas & Sea Lions that followed us. We got to see them hunt out in the wild, it was truly spectacular! Our tour guide, Sebastian Velasquez was very informative & professional. Thank you to the office team that was very attentive & extra caring. Very grateful for your help.

One of the coolest experiences, even as a solo traveler! I highly recommend this tour with the seals but also any of the other tours offered by Vancouver Water Adventures!

Although we wish we had been more assertive to the others on the boat that we wanted to sit together as a couple, my husband and I had an incredible time on the zodiac whale watching tour! We hope to go again on our next trip!
