  "I spent a day diving with Scubaqua last year and decided to return to Statia this year and spend a week. I dove four days with Scubaqua and it was wonderful. Marieke kindly picked me up from the airport upon my arrival and arranged for transportation to take me back on my departure date. I stayed at the Old Gin House, which is very convenient as it is across the street from Scubaqua. The divemasters were all great and thorough in making sure that my experience was smooth and stress-free. They all have great personalities and are sure to make sure everyone is comfortable and safe in their diving. The staff is wonderful. I highly recommend that you use Scubaqua if you ever visit Statia...and I highly recommend that you visit Statia! I know I'll be back. " More >

  "We took our PADI certification with Scubaqua this week - it was a small group (just us two!), the staff and organization are fun and very accommodating. Very patient underwater training and we always felt in safe hands. The rental gear is well cared for too. The location is phenomenal - right on ..."the beach, crystal waters, and fantastic dive locations. Forget confined dives in a pool - the beach is very calm, walk ten paces from the shop and your toes hit the warm water! On your confined dives you will already see some amazing fish and a submerged cannon, and the open water dives are on some of the best reefs in the Caribbean. They have a little bar right on the beach to watch the sunset and wind down the day with other divers. We hope to be back soon for more diving with this first rate dive shop. " More >
