After they kitted us up, we boated out to the first site. Mick gave us instruction, then it was in the water to ensure we knew what we were doing. After Mick was confident with us, we proceeded with the 1st dive and later headed to the 2nd site to dive. Each lasted about 45 minutes down to 35 or 40 feet. Both Mick and Charley were extremely fun and easy to get along with. From a beginner viewpoint that has been to several places, Octopus is the best place by far, especially since we did instruction somewhere other than a pool and the dive sites were legit, not just around a few coral locations just off shore. The staff at the office was also very helpful in our decision to purchase an underwater camera and with registration, and Mick was nice enough to take the pictures for us so we could focus on the dive.
