Welcome to the fabulous Iberostate Bávaro Golf & Club, created by leading designer P. B. Dye. This magnificent course boasts a length of 6,897 yards, a rating of 73, and a 126 slope. The 105 white silica sand bunkers dotted throughout the course form an eye-catching contrast with the intensely green Supreme Paspalum grass, perfect for this tropical region. Together with the lakes, streams, and even some desert-like features, it creates a combination of colors that is impossible to be forgotten. Simply put, an irresistible temptation for both Pro and Amateur guests staying either at our fine Iberostar properties or at any other resort nearby.

"I had a great time here, and I HATE crowds. There were probably about 70 people here and we went on a Sunday, hoping that there would be fewer people. However, everyone was very polite, and I chatted with a very nice Russian tourist and her guide in a grotto beneath the falls.
The water is fresh ..."and cool and feels wonderful on a hot day. Several of the guides climb very high up the falls and jump into the water - it was very entertaining to watch. If you ask very nicely, the guides will let you climb over to a lower jumping point (still very scary) and you can also jump into the water. Sounds like this might not always be possible. It was my favorite part.
To get to the falls, you take a guided horse up. It takes around 45 minutes over very rocky ground. Standard tip for the guide is $10 cash - our tour guide said that attempts were made to put the horse guides on a salary, but the guides refused. They prefer the tips - even if they make no money on one trip, they feel they'll m...

"Dom Rep is an amazing island that one can only truly experience off resort. After being at my hotel for several days seeing the same things and eating the same foods, I decided it was time for something different. The tour starts off with a trip to the country side where you can see the rolling hill..."s of the landscape. You also pass by several schools, visits people in their homes, and se how coffee, chocolate and cigars are made. We had local food and visited a local beach after a horse ride through a river! Though this does not sum up the total experience, its an adventure worth taking. My tour guide Kenny was nothing short of AMAZING!! He knew what seemed to be everything about the island and more. He made everyone feel at home by being able to relate to at least one thing about them, no matter where they were from. Overall, the trip was awesome and i have to give it a 5 star rating. I hope you enjoy it as much as i did. Thanks.
