"Full Island Sunset Tour & Dinner at Tom Moore's Tavern:
My husband and I signed up for this tour through our cruise ship. We had already taken a daytime Island tour and were a little nervous that it would be similar. The main attraction, for us, was getting to have dinner at a Tavern that was bui..."lt in 1652. That being said, we could not have been more pleased with this tour. Yes, we saw some of the same things we saw on the daytime tour (through a different company), but here is where it differs: The Winsome tour is for smaller groups. "lots of ups and downs. very good conditions and good service all around. narrow course. lots of variety in the holes. though only 5,800 yds, only about 3 holes are really short. Two short par 4's and 1 short par 3. Other than that plenty of distance for average golfers. Most people shouldn't ..."be hitting driver here anyway with the narrow fairways and abundance of out of bounds markers.

And the sand is not as fine grained as the other beaches that I've been to, so you may need to wear water shoes here. And if you're after the waves that real sea gives you, you won't get it here. Also, if you're a veteran in snorkeling and would love to see those amazing corals and a variety of fish, go somewhere else.
However, for my young son who is a first time snorkeler, this is enough. And it's perfect for me as well because I get a peace of mind that he won't get lost or swallowed by the ocean (yeah, I may be unnecessarily worrying about it, but it's a mom thing. :) ).
Also, what made it extra special for us are the fish that are just so used to people that it just swam where w...
