Is it the maze of pathways winding through deep gulleys of moss covered rocks, the twisted roots of the Yew trees or the bridges, ‘lookouts’ and features to find on your way round? Puzzlewood is enchanting; it has an atmosphere quite unlike any other woodland. Here you can imagine that you are in a fantasy film, and that fantastic creatures lurk round every corner. Puzzlewood is used for Merlin, Dr Who and recently for a new Warner Bros movie called Jack the Giant Killer (release date June 2012).Also onsite are farm animals, willow maze, indoor maze, playground, picnic tables, café and gift shop « less

If your visit wasn't quite what you expected we will know what to work on, and if you enjoyed it then our staff will be pleased to have done a good job! (Please make sure you are reviewing the correct Course though) Forest Hills Golf Club has an all year round, par 72 parkland course in the beautiful Forest of Dean, Gloucestershire. The Course is very well drained which makes it payable even after heavy rain. Trolleys are always allowed, although at some periods they may require winter wheels. All our hire trolleys have winter wheels. The large clubhouse is renowned locally for good food and has a bar menu available to the public plus popular Sunday carvery. The large downstairs function rooms and upstairs members bar with balcony overlooking magnificent views of the Course, makes this an ideal place to bring a group, society or Corporate/Charity day. If you don't find the staff friendly and welcoming - we'd like to be the first to know! « less
