"One of the most beautiful attractions in Nelliyampathy. Not only in Nelliyampathy, but the whole Kerala itself. It's an amazing experience for the visitors. It is the most important place to visit by the travelers who is visiting Nelliyampathy. It is a part of Seetharkund Estate which have tea and c..."offee plantations with a beautiful waterfall at the end of the view point. After parking the vehicle in the parking area the visitors have to walk about 150 metres through tea plantation farm and when you reach there you will produce a sound (1st time visitor or those who haven't experienced any hill stations) when you saw the scenary. You can see a big picture of Kollengode village under. You will feel that you are on the top of the world. The best time to visit is during March to June as you can watch the view clearly. But it's better to visit during rainy season to enjoy the waterfalls. The view point is extended to about 1 km and at the end you will reach waterfalls. There are lot of mo...

"This is a wonderful place. Malampuzha dam, I just visited it last whole week and it is on the outskirts of palakkad. As my ancestors also belonged to Palakkad, I had a wish to see the place and there I was last week. The area surrounding is full of greenery and lush by itself. The people here a..."re friendly and I stayed at a Trip advisor hotel - ATS residency. I heard the service was good here some time back, but now the service level has dropped. Anyhow, it is quite adjustable as we were out most of the day. The ropeways in the dam is closed for lunch but it would be better to go during 10.30 am to 12 noon or after 2 pm to 4.30 p.m. Apart form this, you could just sit around the place and get the fresh air. On the whole, Palakkad is beautiful especially the greenery around the dam.
