Ayer Keroh Attractions: What to do & Places to Visit in Ayer Keroh
"The set up of authorities in the town of Melaka made me and partner hopeless to find enjoyment. And we decided to head to a place out of town, the ZOO.
I gave a Very Good rating, comparing National Zoo. Species are quite various here and you can find out the big failure of the National Zoo- even ..."a small town's zoo is capable of doing this.
Entrance fee is acceptable at only about USD 3
Visiting a Malaysian managed zoo always depends on your luck, some animals were kept in cage, missing or 'Upgrading work in progress'
And we're considered lucky as we only missed the orangutan and some couples of chimpanzees.
The only disappointing is, again, maintenance.
Facilities are aging, lack of educational resources/zoology knowledge and the ANIMALS NEED MORE CARE.
Hopefully they can improve this then I wouldn't mind paying double to visit them again.

There are also rooms made of glasses next to the cage for the tigers, where u can actually see the tiger when it approaches you nest to the glasses, a really exciting experience! The elephants are just cute! The pose various pose when they see you holding your camera, just adorable!
There were also birds of paradise or in Malaysia we call it Cenderawasih in a cage, where you can see it really closely.. It makes beautiful sounds..
