Good place, need to travel 3 kms from gate. There is a bus which will carry to the tip. Can walk, if people are young and energetic.Recommend to visit in rainy season as there will be water. One problem is no toilets at the entrance, thou it is present, but too dirty to go, but u can find at the... More

You need special permission to go all the way to Vaikunta ( Tower ). But if you can get it, you will have a beautiful drive and view of Dam, water and gardens.. specially during the evenings. There is also musical foutain in the evenings which is good.. A walk in the garden is also okie. And do not miss... More

There isnt anything interesting. The place isnt tidy. Some good views of the river but that's all you get. Good place for locals to chill out but surely not for tourists.

This is probably the last place you would see after everything else and you want to kill time. The only thing nice is the view but you will share some concern to see the water level of the dam quite low. Summer time is very hot and you squeeze inside this tiny bus that takes you up to the top... More

Rainy season is the ideal time to visit and that too in the evenings. Maintenance is pretty aweful for such a dam built across a vast river.

Limited view from one side. Good view but not worth the trouble. The same view available from the road.

We decided to go and visit the dam as a side trip. It's not often that we get to see a dam that size.We had a lovely stroll to the dam and in the small garden next to it.Only problem is the HUGE AMOUNT of litter strewn all over the place.

The dam is so well managed & the gardens were a real surprise as it was well maintained and clean. The dam was solid, the painting on the wall depicts the journey fo the river which was very educational and helful for a tourist. Overall a must see in this area.

The dam, and the view of the reservoir are fantastic; you can either walk up the winding path from the main road entrance or wait for one of the buses to take you up. Either way, you round a corner and see this huge expanse of blue, shimmering in the sun. The little garden is nicely laid out, with convenient... More
