Before entering Hospet town you have pass through Tunbhadra Dam. It is around 8-10kms away from Hotel Malligi in Hospet town. It’s a huge area. After parking your vehicle there are two buses which will take you through all the attractions. The timing of the Dam is 8am – 8.30pm on all 7 days. There is one big garden where... More

A very beautiful place. Lot of activities to do. Make it in the early morning to avoid the scorching sun

Great view. Peaceful. Nice to spend the evening. Guest house at the top offers a panaromic view. Safe place to be with family.

The magnificient sight of the dam and the very nice garden with fountains and lights. One could spend quite some time either walking up to the crest of the dam and enjoy the view or take a bus trip to the top and the slowly walk down enjoying the scenery.

We were lucky enough to watch the sunset from the dam. The place is well maintained and the musical fountain is a delight to watch.

A coach-ride from the bottom of the hill takes you up the winding road to the top, where a guest house - used for dignitaries etc - sits, overlooking a nice garden and the stunning view of the enormous lake. We went up to watch the sunset there, and it proved to be the first quiet, tranquil place we had... More

Its a well maintained place with nice views from the top o the dam waters and sluice gates. However, its quite an uphill walk. It takes about 20 minutes of uphill walking from the parking lot to reach the top from where you get the views. There is an interpretation centre and a canteen on top. There is also a... More
