We've read in our book guide that Piscinas is a specioal place, and we were not deceived. The road to go there is not easy... you drive on a mountain road... but it's beautiful! You also crose former mine town and abandoned mines and equipment... looks a bit like a movie... not sure what style.. sci-fi??? Beach itself is beautiful,... More

What a great beach! We visited mid/end June and there were very few people about. There were 2 beach bars/restaurants that offered bathroom facilities and had some showers. The golden sand is fantastic, the water is clear and cool and there are some waves! The waves are not big enough to surf, but makes for some good swimming.

Le Dune di Piscinas offers you tranquility and cheap beach services. the vsita is gorgeous, the yellow sand dunes goes well with the turquoise sea. While swiming close to the shore I've seen a few very timid rays. What a wonderful place!!

This place was really beautiful when there was no tourism. The dunes and the wildness of the beach deserve intense silence. Unfortunately in the last few years it has become destination of many visitors without anybody really organizing this new situation. if you go in August you find a crowd of people on the beach and a lot of cars... Arriving on a dusty track to an enormous beach is the only way as you know it puts of the casual visitor and results in a bigger beach for the rest of us!

A really wild beach near old suggestive carbon mines. Be careful when you swim because sometimes there are dangerous whirpools. Never go in if the sea is not extra-flat, even if you are a strong swimmer.

A real Paradise, Piscinas or Arbus is a wonderful beach made of sand dunes. The sea is perfectly transparent and shines a wonderful blu color. Far from the coast you can still perfectly see the bottom of the sea, that is how clean is the water. Two small bars offer coffee, drinks, fruits and sone food, they are clean and... More

The location really is amazingly beautiful & the buildings are sympathetic with the environment. It's a great place The rooms aren't air-conditioned & don't have ceiling fans. It doesn't matter but it's better to know this in advanced The food is reputed to be very good but, in fact, isn't nearly as good as it should/could be. A couple of... More
