We played three rounds here during a three week holiday. This course has enough variety to provide a challenge for all golfers. We always find it a bit tricky to decide up front on playing from the rough. Do you take a penalty drop to avoid club damage, or possibly wrist strain, or play it where it lies to save... More

There are only two courses on Lanzarote and this is the only one worth playing. If you miss the fairway, it is goodbye ball, but the fairways were pretty wide, so no problem there basically. If you landed on the red lava gravel called picon, you got a free drop. There were two types of bunkers, rock hard and soft,... More

Went there By cab from Playa Blanca with 2 friends. Price 40 EUR each way. GreenFee only 42 EUR, friendly service. Rented clubs and buggy. Had own shoes, glove and balls. Fairways fairly hard and decent condition, greens very soft and a bit slow. Predictable though. Really needed the extra lava club since I was hitting the rocks quite many... More

We played this course today, and thoroughly enjoyed it. It's not massively long, and the par three's are all very easily reachable for a lady. There are some interesting holes, and overall you need to be able to hit a straight ball off the tee. There's not much room for error, as either side there can be volcanic rock, sometimes... More

I am a 9 handicap and I played with my son, junior 27. We played on a day when the wind blew! Easily a 2-3 club allowance. This made the course a real challenge. Whilst there are numerous interesting holes I did find some of the design of the latter holes to be a bit unusual in the use of... More

I played Lanzarote Golf on Monday, and hugely enyoyed it. The course was in reasonable nick (a friend tells me its in much better condition in winter), although the greens weren't too special. The layout was interesting, if mostly forgiving (as per many a hoilday course). I preferred the back 9 where dry stone walls and volcanic outcrops abound; The... More

I have played this course many times since its opening 5 years ago. It is very open and forgiving to high h) cap players like myself. The front nine is a little easier but often it is windy so makes for a nice challenge on some of the longer holes. They have good offers on vouchers if you buy in... More

Spring golf break used to be in Tenerife but the courses were rammed and over 5 hours for a round stopped being fun. Lanzarote is a much quieter place and the lanzarote golf course is as good as anything on Tenerife except for the abama course. This is our 5th year here. Enjoy.

My dad and I went on a sunny day and it was great, it was quiet and we made quick progress. Unfortunately we hired clubs and they were offset so my dad (who already hits it left it) hit it way too far left into the rough. Other than that it was a great game of golf with a nice... More
