This is an incredibly beautiful spa. Designed right down to every detail, you can't go wrong. The only thing is that there's no food inside, so if you want to spend the day and know you'll get hungry, bring some snacks (we hid in the changing room and ate some bread and cheese - then relaxed on the chairs by... In order to show someone the Vals thermal bath, I find it always worthwile to travel through half Switzerland. It is unique in its way. I usually don't like "swimming pool" - but this place is different.

If you are a lover of great architecture and world-class natural beauty then this is your place. The baths are amazing. Our family has traveled extensively, and this is one of the most memorable places we have been. If you are within a train ride, get there. You will always remember your time there.

If you are architect student, you must visit here when you travel to Switzerland!! It is a masterpiece! You can feel the connection between the nature and humain. The hazy arise from the mountains behind the thermal, that's unbelievable !!! If you have time, reserve the hotel next to the thermal, the price is so cheap that you can't believe... More

Absolutely fantastic! as an architecture student, firstly I could only splash out for the cheaper rooms (still great though as I spent the entire time in the pool) but the baths are out of this world. I was thinking of skipping the midnight swim but the silence makes it so much more enjoyable. Especially as you swim through the passage... More

A must-visit location after a day of physical activity in Vals. We booked 75-minute massages and then spent another few hours in the Therme afterward. Note that you must pay for the Therme even if you have treatments (admission is only free for those staying in the hotel, I think). The Therme consists of several pools of different temperatures, and... More

The spa itself is beautifully designed, with 2 main pools and a number of smaller pools within enclosed areas, with varying water temperatures, petals, bubbles etc, plus some steam rooms and shower rooms. The main pool that leads outside was lovely as you had the spectacular mountain views while you relaxed. We were staying nearby and so the entrance was... More

I visited Therme Vals in December of 2013. The location is a trek from Zurich, but well worth the amazingly picturesque drive through the mountains. We didn't take any spa/massage, but it's not necessary. We arrived at 5pm and stayed until close. I highly recommend this time as there are fewer people there so none of the baths were crowded.... I love this place, high in the mountain , a very beautiful building made of rock designed by Peter Zumthor, it seems like being in Stonehenge and seeing the wonder of the Aips while you swim outside and see the beauty of nature and its sound ,all surrounds you...There is a SPA and the Thermal Baths.. Both are excellence.. The... More
