A new showcase stadium has long been in the works in Perth, and it is finally on the way at Burswood. But Paterson's has been the home of footy for a long time and there's nothing like the atmosphere of 40 000 fans baying for blood when things are tense. The facilities like bathrooms are showing their age, and for... More

Eagles nailed the match. Really an awesome match. The place and the sitting is good and comfortable. Enjoyed every moment... Like to go back over and over again...

A really exciting place to watch my first ever AFL match. A great atmosphere. The stadium is in need of a bit of updating. The toilet facilities are not the best and the seats are a bit cramped. The food and drink prices are somewhat over priced considering what you get, although that is not uncommon in many places round... More

At 196cms tall I was unable to sit with the family, because I simply could not fit in my allocated seat. Thankfully the staff were accomodating to my needs, I was able to utilize disabled seating. Unfortunately I was still unable to sit with the family. Not being a member means I can't be picky with my seats if I... More

We never buy the food. Always take our own. Those around us who do buy complain - always about the price. Tried the red wine once . Never again.

We are Freemantle members so go regularly to the stadium and the facilities are a disgrace. The toilets are old and dark and not all of them work, you have to go during the game or queue for ages during the break!!! Take your own food as their prices are highway robbery and very small for the price you pay.

We were here for an AFL game and the stadium was pretty much sold out which meant there was a fantastic atmosphere at the game however the stadium is showing definite signs of age and getting in and out of our seats during breaks was difficult as the access points are pretty restricted, but we had a good day of... Watched the Fremantle game against Sydney Swans and was quite impressed by the arena - it seemed to have more passion and emotion than the modern stadium in Sydney. The facilities were fine and the game had the excitement that somehow the more modern stadiums don't provide. Perhaps lucky that the black clouds overhead waited until the next day to... More

As the modern day sports fan is increasingly demanding, venues like Patersons Stadium / Subiaco Oval are falling out of favour. The poor buggers that built (and upgraded) this stadium did so in the days when people would go to watch sport without expecting that they'd: have comfortable seats; keep dry when it rained; and have easy access to a...
