Felt lucky that the hotel we were staying for the weekend is just a walking distance to the Museum and more lucky that the entrance fee was for free at that time we were there, as it was the Last day of the Exposition " Dior, Images de Legende" last September. I always admire his creations and was lucky enough... More

The gardens are beautiful overlooking the cliffs at Granville. Each garden is planted to a fragrance theme, inspired by one of the Dior perfumes. The site is not too big, and fairly flat so is suitable for the elderly and disabled. Well worth a visit and free to enter. The museum however is for enthusiasts only-expensive to get in and... Outside is a beautiful garden with a multitude of flowers that inspired his many fragrances. Inside, for 10 euro are three floors of his fashions over the years. Totally worth it.

I chose to visit here today, although it is out of season and the house itself is closed until December 20 (the day I leave France). The climb is very steep and the views are excellent. The gardens had some late flowers still blooming-especially roses and the bust of the great man is in fact in the rose garden.I was quite taken with... A gracious old home surrounded by pretty gardens, it is free to walk in the surrounds and admire the blooms. There are steps down to the beach. I found this because I was walking along the cliffs - you can walk through the gardens through to a genteel cemetary and then keep walking to wards D'Onvile, the next small village.... More

a one to two hours little walk in Christian Dior's parc and house. A look at the collection of his creations... the roses, the view into the ocean, the story behind each dress... just make a little stop, before heading in Granville

As advised by the tourist office we walked along the promenade & climbed the steps up to the museum! The steps were extremely steep although there were breaks with gentle slopes my legs were burning by the time I got to the top! But worth it! The gardens themselves are beautifully kept and worth looking round. The house itself where... More

We went to Granville in order to visit the Musée Dior and were agreeably surprised by the wonderful garden, an oasis of peace and colors after much driving to get there. You need a car and a GPS to reach this place away from the city centre, located in a residential area. Parking is free of charge. At 11 o'clock... More

Driving through Granville we saw the signs directing you to the Christian Doir museum, working in the fashion industry this was of interest to us, upon finding this attraction there was no parking facilities, there is a small car park a short walk away. The house did not open until 2pm so we did not go inside but the gardens... More

Christain Dior grew up in this pretty house overlooking the sea - a garden has been created to emphasise the links between art and perfume and the house contains a number of his creations plus an exhibition of fashion photographs. We had to wait to gain entrance as only 50 visitors are allowed at any time - we arrived after... More
