Lovely Stroll to this beautiful home high up on the beach front. The gardens are a feature and have perfume sensory locatiions along the paths. Inside the museum home there are displays of Christian Dior's designs and displays of incredible clothing as well as fragrances. Well worth a visit!

Charming side excursion when in the area going to, or coming back from, le Mont St. Michel. The startling Pink house color seems to fit in fine here overlooking the seaside and bluffs. Nice small museum of Dior and his haute couture works. Even the guys can enjoy the house and gardens, while the girls will swoon away. Enjoy. ...

If you're on the way to Mont St Michel, Granville is a great spot to stop. The current exhibit-- New Look is fabulous & inspiring if you are into fashion. Seeing the actual clothes, how they were constructed & photos from the show. So influential. But even if you're not, the setting & grounds-- pink house & all-- is relaxing... More

We didn't know what to expect but hope to see some drawings, we not disappointed, it is a lot more. We were hoping to see some drawings but there is a lot more. The gowns by John Galliano are a bonus, well worth the the trip It is only a small house but that is all part of the charm

Difficult to get to if you are less mobile, (that is if you climb up for the beach as we did)! Our stay in Normandy was mainly concerned with World War 2 history but if you want a change from that, this is different. It is of course a more feminine place to visit and I loved viewing the dresses.... More

Visited on a rainy day, Granville is a great place(for eating and beach) so this is a great addition to our places to visit for us. Was quite a queue to get in, and once in had limited to interest the family - gardens and the "smell" pads probably were a bigger hit before we rushed down the steps to... More

This year's exhibition is "The New Look" - a good array of Dior's designs and some later ones by John Galliano and other designers. An interesting section which showed how some of the coats were designed and completed. Lighting seems to have improved over previous exhibitions - a little more explanation of the clothes would help. Gardens superb and well... More

Gardens are beautiful and so peaceful. If you go in June/July the rose gardens are stunning. The museum (Dior's house) is small and can get crowded - but the displays are beautiful.

Very beautiful house with nice sea view and a wonderful park. There are many flowers and tree and roses. The minor point is the toilet, very dirty, man toilet has no door and next to woman toilet and stink. The tea house is cute, but it is a simple tent while the house look like a palace.

LOVELY. The Gardens are free to visit, small but with the feel of the perfection that comes later. Reached either by road way- or Best,- via stairways that meander up from the seaside promenade below. The area around the rectangular pond is gorgeous, and rather chic. The Greener parts having a condensed country estate feel in a suburban setting. The... More
