we had a great experience, a little rushed which was a shame but all in all we had so much fun. I thought we would be more scared but they have a great system set up with the first 3 being short zip lines so you can ease into it. We did the superman and loved it, my kids did... More

The guys who worked the zip lines were very safety conscious and funny. The cloud forest was beautiful as were the grounds of Selvatura Park. Wear old clothes that you can throw away afterwards because we could not wash out the black oil or grime from the pulleys. Wear a rain poncho because you get really wet.

The ziplining was like a Navy Seal survival test! It was rainy and cold on this day and on several of the stations we had to wait for about 15 minutes freezing for the workers to get to our particular station! I had goose bumps all over and was shivering. Also it is quite a walk from one station to... More

My family (2 adults, 2 kids--8 & 12) have done this twice now. The zip line tour is fun and the hanging bridges walk is probably the best around. On our first trip we saw a male quetzal under bridge 4 as well as a troop of howler monkeys. Even the second time, when we weren't as lucky, it's just... More

This was my favourite experience of the trip! The staff here are so professional and always wary of safety. My granddaughters ages 11,11,and 8 all went on the elder two did the Tarzan jump! The eight year old don't go on as it was very high and she very Tiny! Everyone who tried it in our group, with one exception,... More

On a previous visit to Costa Rica, we had done the ziplines in the Arenal region. It was memorable. However, the same experience in a cloud forest, where you lose sight of the lines in the clouds, sometimes zipping in the air and suddenly lose sight of everything, because the clouds completely surround you is an unforgettable experience. We also... More

We did a day trip from Arenal to Monteverde and loved every minute of it. We took a boat across Lake Arenal and then drove up to the Park. Once there, we first did a tour of the hanging bridges with our guide. Really stunning and fascinating to learn more about the cloud forest ecosystem. it was a rainy day... More

This is a wonderful place to spend a lot of time. We did a variety of things with a family ranging in age from 10 to 72. Bring along some rain gear.

Beautiful views of the canopy. We didn't see many birds. This was the most crowded place that we visited in Costa Rica. Plan to get here early since it takes some time to pay and get into the park. There were a lot of buses full of kids. Once we got moving along on the hanging bridges, the crowds seemed... More
