Sure, there is a lot to do here, but it very much felt like the Disney World of Monteverde. Expensive, crowded with tourists, but a lot to do in one place. The hanging bridges walk was expensive for what it was (a hike) but I guess I had to do it once. The hummingbird garden was small but nice for... More

This was my first experience zip-lining, and without anything to compare it to, I would rate this place as excellent. The guides (a group of college aged kids) were super well-trained, friendly, and professional as they took us through the paths. Some of the lines were semi-short (like 100 yards) and some VERY long, cruising over the rain forest…it was... More

We visited Selvatura Park and enjoyed the hanging bridges tour, zip lining, and then had lunch in the restaurant before being returned to our hotel. First we experienced the cloud forest with Hector, an excellent naturalist guide. My husband and I were combined with 6 other people and the small group was the perfect size. Hector showed his passion for... More

Unfortunately we were the last group of the day. The "guides" were in a rush to go home. Most of our runs were tandems or threesomes, or in the case of kids up to 5 at a time. The "guides" called this Taxi style. Most of the time the guides failed to attaché my chest harness which really added extra... More

Did the hanging bridges walk. Easy stroll, well kept, good views from the bridges but not much wildlife to see (non...). The USD 30 just includes the entrance fee, not the exhibitions. It would be wise to let visitors also see the exhibitions, USD 30 for a one hour walk in the forest is way too expensive!

I didn't do the zip lining, I instead did the circuit of 8 hanguing bridges. We were told these moved less than the bridges in other parks, and for the most part, they moved very little, except the longest ones. Bridges 3, 4, and 5 are the highest and longest, and it was a bit scary to move through the... More

They picked us up promptly from our hotel. We got a package for most of the activities. The first thing we did was zipline. We signed up for the superman & pictures (both at additional costs) & the Tarzan swing. It was a blast and the guides were very efficient. Our group had maybe 15 people or so but it... More

They call zip lining "canopy tour" -- and we weren't at all sure we really wanted to do it. However, we had a blast. There are 13 zip lines, some long, some short. Very competent team helping all the way and they make everything smooth and safe. Very, very fun and everyone locally recommended this company and location.

We only went zip lining here. I am terrified of heights, and did a LOT of research on the safety of zip lining before going to Costa Rica. Selvatura's guides seemed very knowledgable, and were kind, but as others have said, things were a bit rushed at times. I liked how many lines they have because I got to enjoy... More
