This one is off the beaten track, we had a hire car and a map ( although not so much of a map as more a hint of what could be there). It took a while but we finally found the area and were lucky to find a tour guide ( low season and not many people around). Your need... More

Call Jay +230 57641372. He's the best guide for this tour. We thoroughly enjoyed Les 7 Cascades with him as our tour guide!

We decided on a trip to the falls with Jay because of the glowing reviews on Trip Advisor, and we were not disappointed (thank you TA). We went with our kids 7 and 12. Our 7 year old is quite adventurous, fearless and robust....which you need to be on this trip as it's not for the faint hearted! Good trainers/preferably... More

I would definately agree with the previous comments and recommend Jay! He is very knowledgeable and safe and good fun, not to mention excellent value and his wife is a good cook. The hike in to the gorge is definately more of a scramble and good shoes are an absolute must. The views were stunning and swimming in the pools... More

We were advised to use a guide to do this excursion. We were recommended Jay (+ 230 57641372). What a great excursion. Without our guide we would have missed out on the majority of the things to see: plants, animals, scenery. Good walking or hiking shoes are a must. Bring your bathing suit if you want to experience a natural... More

We just got back from a 3 hour hike by the 7 cascades with our guide Jay. Really great experience. We just did 3 waterfalls as it was very cloudy and raining at times which makes everything very slippery. Wear proper hiking boots and bring a light raincoat and you'll have a wonderful experience. Jay know's so much about the... More

A small group of friends and I went for a hike at 7 cascades. Our guide Jay was great! He's been very nice, always taking his time and making sure we got time to see and do everything we wanted. His wife even made us an excellent lunch with dal puri, gateaux piment and samosa! I got to learn a... More

I've been there several times with friends. The best part of it is having a waterfall massage under the first top waterfall. We've tried all the 7 waterfalls, all of them with different levels of difficulty. However you really need a guide when going there. You can easily get lost.

My family and i were staying at a hotel on the Le Morne peninsula but wanted to get out and have a more 'local' experience so decided to visit the 7 waterfalls. We came across some great reviews of Jay so decided to organise a trip through him (we organised our own transport to and from the location). It was... More

I absolutely love hiking and this is one of the best hiking spot in Mauritius. It is simply great with the seven waterfalls and different levels of difficulty. BUT be sure of knowing your way through this maze. A guide would be the best of choices for your safety!
