We have been using Bissels hideaway for about 9 years now...as a seasonal camper. The place went thru a lot of changes and even though we have a seasonal site rented that does not stop us from travelling and using other camping resort around Ontario. The place is known for its 1 acre pool. The resort is very clean and... More

we took our 7 year old granddaughter there for the day. Lots to do for children and adults. The pools are amazing. A great waterslide that we went down several times. A great splash pad for the little ones . We had a great picnic lunch under one of the many shelters. Lots of grass to play on and water... More

Very little bang for your buck, they list pedal boats as an included attraction but fail to mention that most of them are broken and need to be replaced (my son scratched himself on one of the broken seats). The pool and splash pad is really all they can boast about although the splash pad does need some work. So... More

This was our first time at Bissell's and I'm sure we will be back. My family and I quite often vacation with other families and on this trip, there was 18 of us. Bissell's accommodated us with 4 sites side by side which was great. The kids had so much room to run and play as the sites are HUGE!... More

Camped at Bissell's for a weekend at the end of June. I was impressed with the area and regretted that we only had a couple of days to enjoy the amenities and no time to explore the other venues in the immediate area. The pool was not open due to lack of inspection but, the waterslide and splash-pad were open... More

Another great trip to Bissells! Lovely grounds and clean cabins. Stayed with other families all in same row. Able to go for walks, fishing, good bonfire areas, plenty to do for fun. Enjoyed ourselves and will be back!

7 years of being a seasonal campers and we love it. We have seen the changes of the place and we enjoy our weekend get away. Ed and Issabel are doing a good job of doing some improvement for the resort. The pool is the best attraction of the place.

We visited Bissell's for a Labour Day weekend. The atmosphere was so relaxed, the activities greatly timed and fun and the fireworks were AMAZING. We really enjoyed the water park and always found a shady spot even when it got busy (although the water was on a cold side). The staff was VERY friendly, the campgrounds were clean and the... More
