I have been many times at The Fondation Beyeler. The variety in their exhibitions and well as their permanent collection make this museums one of my favourites worldwide. Not overloaded, distinct and soothing, I even love the building. Good size, you are through at some point. Love it.

My wife had visited the museum before and liked the collection. Our recent visit was a mixed surprise. A good exhibition about Richter but the permanent collection could not been seen. Entryprice of 26 francs to high for only a Richterexhibition

A pity that the permanent Beyeler collection was not available for visit. The exhibition catalogue was exceptionally high priced.

Very well curated exhibition, we really enjoyed it.The price was too high taking into account that the rest of the museum was closed.

I probably visited 10 times or more. There is a permanent expo of Beyeler's private collection and a special feature of contemporary artists. Currently G. Richter. Everytime I visit I enjoy the garden, the remarkable building and of course the artwork. Contemporary art lovers visiting Basel should not miss it. The tramway brings you to the front door (the foundation... More

This is one of the worst museums I've seen. I am not sure why there was a line to get in and it wasn't inexpensive. I brought my 16 year old son along after getting a recommendation from the hotel on museums. It was a small museum and didn't offer much to see other than rooms with a lot of... More

Simply wonderful: incredible permanent collection and Piano's structure that exploit natural light without aid of artificial lights. Lovely garden outside. Do not miss current exhibition of Gerard Richter

We took the number 6 tram just to see the Swiss countryside and randomly got off at the Beyeler Foundation stop. Being an art teacher, I decided to pay the 20 francs just to see what was inside. WOW. Eventhough I was severely underdressed and accidentally set off the alarm for getting too close to the Monet, I thoroughly enjoyed... More
