We came to Roatan on a cruise day and booked a $40 day cruise ship package in advance from Bananarama because we wanted to spend the day at West Bay beach and snorkel. It wasn't clear whether there were going to be taxis at Mahogany Bay dock, but it turned out there were plenty, all charging standard rates. West Bay... More

This resort was included with our island tours. This beach had the most beautiful water I have ever seen. The restaurant on the beach had delicious and authentic food. I recommend the Roatan dip with chips. The water trampoline was easily accessible, and even though it was mid March, the water wasn't too cold. My only gripe was that there... More

We booked our own excursion through Bananarama. We had a large group so we got our own driver and van for the trip. That was nice. The driver was friendly. We first did the North Shore Zip lines which were totally awesome and then on to the beach at Bananarama. The location amazing. The service was mediocre even for island... More

We were brought here by our taxi driver while we had a day in Roatan while on a cruise. The resort is about a 40 minute ride from the Mahogany Bay terminal. The taxi fee is $15 pp one way, so $60 roundtrip, cash payable upon return to the cruise port for 2. We informed the entrance staff that we... More

We purchased a day pass here. It included transfer from our cruise ship, one drink and use of facilities. Sorry but I hated it here. Such poor, poor service. Make that no service. Everyone was rude. I mean rude. When we checked in the girls couldn't have cared less that we were there or that we were paying guests. They... More

We rented a house in West End area but took the water taxi to West Bay. Lots of places to settle down but Bananarama was our favorite. They rented us chairs for the week. Snorkel equipment available and best of all were the guys at Roatan Adventures were great to do excursions with. Ask for Elder!! Food was excellent and... More

I went to this resort for a beach day off a carnival cruise ship. The price was good, $40 for transport to the resot and use of facilities and snorkle equipment, and one drink. There is a nice bar and the monkey lala was great. The beach is OK, it is narrow and a stream of hawkers go by, offering... More

We spent half of our day at the Banarama Resort. We paid $10 for access to their facilities, beach, and a chair. Pretty much everywhere is going to charge you, so $10 isn't terrible. This is a good place to settle down for lunch. They have pizza, which looked REALLY good and also the Thirsty Turtle, which has all of... More
