This little hub of activity was full of local charm. The beach bar poured strong drinks, and had a variety of tasty food. It was busy and there are vendors on the beach. The water was at least 4 shades of blue and tranquil as can be. There was a musician that loved to sing country music with an island... More

We waited nearly 3 hrs for a parasailing excursion, especially when we booked it prior to arrival and they confirmed everything was ready. Then, when we got there, they told us everything was ready but in fact nothing was ready. They kept telling us 5 more minutes, but we just waited. In the end, our guide had to rush us... More

We stayed at infinity bay resort and the activity center is just a short walk and has a variety of activities. We took a 1/2 island tour with Fernando who was awesome explained the history of the island we were able to stop and take photos. Part of the tour was to the Garifuno area where we enjoyed a traditional... More

Pay to get in, pay to get a chair, pay to have it under an umbrella. Heaven forbid you should want a drink or something to eat. A waitress might make it around once an hour at most. Admittedly, the beach was beautiful but too much "wanna buy this?" and virtually no service. Even when you move up to one... More

We were in Roatan for the day on a cruise. I booked a day pass directly with Bananarama, and one of their drivers picked us up at the pier. He was very friendly and it was an enjoyable ride to the other side of the island. When we arrived, we immediately loved the beach. Loungers were available and water was... More

This place was recommended to us by another tour guide and was his only bad suggestion. We had booked a trip for two to Cayos Cochinos the cost was 180USD a piece and if you paid by Credit card they added 15%. Hint (standard practice-bring enough cash to Roatan) Cayos Cochinos was awesome, a must see, but you should do... More

We came to Roatan on a cruise day and booked a $40 day cruise ship package in advance from Bananarama because we wanted to spend the day at West Bay beach and snorkel. It wasn't clear whether there were going to be taxis at Mahogany Bay dock, but it turned out there were plenty, all charging standard rates. West Bay... More

This resort was included with our island tours. This beach had the most beautiful water I have ever seen. The restaurant on the beach had delicious and authentic food. I recommend the Roatan dip with chips. The water trampoline was easily accessible, and even though it was mid March, the water wasn't too cold. My only gripe was that there... More

We booked our own excursion through Bananarama. We had a large group so we got our own driver and van for the trip. That was nice. The driver was friendly. We first did the North Shore Zip lines which were totally awesome and then on to the beach at Bananarama. The location amazing. The service was mediocre even for island... More

We were brought here by our taxi driver while we had a day in Roatan while on a cruise. The resort is about a 40 minute ride from the Mahogany Bay terminal. The taxi fee is $15 pp one way, so $60 roundtrip, cash payable upon return to the cruise port for 2. We informed the entrance staff that we... More
