We were in Roatan for our honeymoon. We were looking for a place to spend our day and our $. We showed up on a "cruise ship day" the beach was fairly busy but not too crazy. We asked the staff at this place if we could rent a chair and have lunch etc. We were told all the chair... More

We had done a Jolly Roger tour the previous week but decided to try out a beach snorkel at Tabyana Beach. We we thrilled. Great day. Lots of fish for snorkeling and guide was great. Got to keep the gear to snorkel for the rest of our stay. Excellent meal. Neat little store and some local items and jewelry for... More

We took an excursion off of our Carnival Cruise to Tabyana Beach. It was a beautiful and clean beach. There was the most amazing snorkeling I have ever seen right off of the beach. My husband and I swam out two different times. We saw a barracuda and many other beautiful fish. There was snorkel gear to rent but we... More

This was a shore excursion on our recent Princess Cruise. We were REALLY looking forward to this one, but as it turned out, it was probably the the least liked of the three we went on. The negatives were the long & EXTREMELY crowded bus ride, along with the EXTREMELY crowded beach (Spring Break week). There were several beach vendors... More

We took a tour from our cruise to Tabyana Beach resort. The air conditioned bus ride had some great views as the road went up and over from the port to the beach. There was a short wait to sign snorkel waivers but after that everything went smoothly. We were issued snorkel gear including float vests and taken into the... More

Only 30 minutes from our cruise ship dock at Mahogny Bay, we had a lovely lunch, drinks, and swimming in clear and warm Carribean waters. This type of place can emit the strong odor of commercialism and feel like a tourist trap. Not this place. Tabyana Beach is special because of the beautiful setting, friendly and accommodating staff, and good... More

Staying in West End and came in by water taxi and they refused me entry because I wasn't with a cruise but I could come back when there would be no cruises - that will be a cold day in hell. In the end they did me a favour - got a locker at Bananarama for 5$ and snorkle at... More

This was a highly recommended excursion as part of a recent cruise vacation. We arrived before 9:00 AM to find the beach beautifully quiet. We immediately started snorkeling and were stunned by the variety of fish (and Sea Turtles) we found. Before leaving around 3:00 PM we had snorkeled 3 separate times and had taken over 300 underwater pictures. Our... More

Definitely worth coming for snorkeling right off the beach. I've been to great barrier reef in Australia (via catamaran) and this place is amazingly better. We went for the day from the cruise. We hired our own driver $25/pp(this was one of our requested stops) and spent 4 hours here. We paid $10/pp to use the chairs and showers. We... More
