This was our third trip to this island and 2nd time to this beach we loved it. The snorkeling. Was unbelievable. You only need to go in to your knees and there are fish swimming all around you, it only gets better the farther you go out. Great customer service good food the buffet will feed two people for 15... We took a shuttle bus from our ship to the West Bay, Tabyana Beach. Snorkeled in pristine water and our guide Donnie showed us Conch, Lobster and even a large Flounder. Really made me wish I was diving instead!!. The crew of the restort were very nice and the lunch was fairly decent. Two guys came down the beach with... More

Was there in December on Norweigian cruise. And the water was crystal clear and warm. They gave us a quick tutorial on the snorkel equipment. Daughter first time. Guide took us out and and pointed out all the different sea life. Brought up a giant Conch shell and let everyone hold it. Left all our belongings on beach. They had... More

Such a great place to wind down and relax. I stayed on the beach while my husband snorkeled he raved about how clear the water was and all of the fish he saw. We can't wait to go back to this little slice of paradise.

This beach is one of the best I have visited. The snorkeling was amazing with vision of up to six feet, crystal clear. The water is very calm too. The fish swim right up to you as if you were a part of their school. It's an amazing experience. Me and my family did the glass bottom boat and it... More

We rented a glass bottom kayak on the beach for 30/hr. The water was crystal clear. There were other things to rent, like giant slides, massages, etc. Take your own snorkeling gear or rent. The staff tell you they will keep an eye on your belongings. That is for a tip. You won't see them again and nobody will bother... More

I gave a 4 star rating because the staff at this location was very good, friendly and helpful. We took this tour with our cruise line since we really didn't know what else to do and the Maya Key was sold out and I didn't want to zipline. This was a 30 minute drive from the pier. The area has... More

Tabyana Beach is one of the nicest beaches I've been to. The water is crystal clear and the snorkelling is amazing! There are lots of activities to do like parasailing, jet-ski rentals, scuba diving, etc. The only downside was the amount of vendors trying to sell you things. It was annoying! Another thing was the food at Tabyana Beach Resort... More

It's true what the reviews say. This beach is wonderful and one if not the best beach I've ever been to. The locals do not call it Tabyana Beach but just simply West Bay or West Bay Beach. The beach is pure white, small grain and the water is heavenly beautiful. The view all around is breath taking. There are... More
