Tabyana Beach...working to keep snorkelers and reef safe

Great place to snorkel...the staff work hard at protecting the reef and educating snorkelers. Beautiful place!

This is my favorite beach. The reef is just a quick swim from the beach with many fish and corals. Last time there I took 250 photos underwater. at the end of the beach is a rock cliff with many Iguanas. An older gentleman was putting cut plantain pieces on the rocks and drawing out Iguanas and monkeys. The kids... More

There were guards keeping locals from approaching the area where the visitors sit on beach chairs. The snorkeling is some of the BEST and there were iguanas, monkeys, and more just hanging out.

Some friends suggested we go here on our cruise. We love to snorkel and they said it was great. We were not disappointed. The sand is white and the water clear. The reef is close to shore and is easy to snorkel out too. We saw so many fish of all shapes and sizes. An easy swim from the beach.... More

This beach has awesome snorkeling, make sure if you go to bring your equipment with you or you can rent it at the beach ($10 for mask, snorkel and life jacket). There are plenty of activities there to do. There is a big inflatable slide, trampoline mountain thing in the water. You can have all day access to this for... More

Tabyana Beach is a beautiful wide sandy beach. It has dive shops, bars and several large private condo developments. It is a tourist destination for all the cruise ships and so, at times, can be very crowded. There are rentals of banana rides, parasailing etc. At night the bars continue with the tourist crowds. The water is clear and relatively... More

Beautiful beach. Beautiful water. Pleasant employees. Security at the beach. Lovely facilities for restroom and dressing, dining, bar, gift shop. Food was excellent! We had a huge plate of barbecued chicken and another of tropical fruit--very fresh--for $10.00. The water is totally clear. Plenty of chairs and deep shade where a massage therapist is set up. Wish we were still... More

I really loved my time at Tabyana Beach. The water was beautiful, peaceful and calm, just like the people! I had a great time relaxing and enjoying the sea. Albert was wonderful, as he made sure all my belongings were kept safe while I enjoyed the water. Also, the bar staff Diego was very attentive. I recommend this location for... More

Beautiful beach, but very crowded. Security was very present and never felt threatened. There are vendors all over the beach, so be prepared to get solicited constantly. They cannot come up to the lounge chairs, but vendors for everything are all up and down the beach trying to sell bracelets, tshirts, massages, para sailing, etc, etc. Lunch was OK, at... More

Headed out on a Carnival excursion to this beach. It was beautiful and I loved that security was looking out for our belongings when we swam and walked the beach. Water was so clear & blue, snorkeling was great. Thank you Albert for keeping us secure!
