Nice powdery white sand with crystal clear warm water. The reef is very accessible and offers spectacular snorkeling. Schools of fish, large and small, sea turtles, etc. Highly recommended.

We visited this beach on our Royal Caribbean cruise on Oct 8. The beach was clean and well maintained. The water was crystal clean. The fish plentiful. They swam all around you without having to snorkel. Lots of vendors on the beach but they didn't harass you. Special on site security people to watch over your belongings while you were... More

Absolutely beautiful and we had a good time. My only complaint is that there are several "beach vendors" who may try to sell you jewelry or sub-standard snorkeling gear. We paid $10 to a 'guard' standing on the beach and asked him to watch our stuff. He did a very good job and even shooed off the vendors approaching us.... More

This was my favorite place to visit on our cruise. Super clear water (down to 100 feet). The beach was very clean. Snorkeling just a few yards off of the beach. Lounge chairs and a bartender on site. We bought homemade empanadas from a local for lunch that were fantastic! I will definitely go back!

This is a beautiful beach with calm waters. My husband and I snorkeled for the first time ever here, just walked into the water with masks and didn't have to go very far. There are lifeguards in kayaks that came over and assisted us in finding great spots, and they didn't ask for a dime just truly wanted us to... More

Our full day excursion, from our cruise ship, the Carnival Dream, ended up at Tabyana Beach after our Zip Lining. I have been in the Eastern and Western Caribbean and been to many beaches, heck I live in Florida. But, this was so beautiful I was in awe. A very safe area, great beachfront area, local vendors but a safe... More

Water was calm, amenities were nearby and very helpful with the elderly family members who needed help.

This was our third trip to this island and 2nd time to this beach we loved it. The snorkeling. Was unbelievable. You only need to go in to your knees and there are fish swimming all around you, it only gets better the farther you go out. Great customer service good food the buffet will feed two people for 15... We took a shuttle bus from our ship to the West Bay, Tabyana Beach. Snorkeled in pristine water and our guide Donnie showed us Conch, Lobster and even a large Flounder. Really made me wish I was diving instead!!. The crew of the restort were very nice and the lunch was fairly decent. Two guys came down the beach with... More

Was there in December on Norweigian cruise. And the water was crystal clear and warm. They gave us a quick tutorial on the snorkel equipment. Daughter first time. Guide took us out and and pointed out all the different sea life. Brought up a giant Conch shell and let everyone hold it. Left all our belongings on beach. They had... More
