Tabyana is a small outdoor pavilion within west bay beach for tourists. Its an outdoor eating pavilion, a volleyball court, a ton of beach chairs, and some toilets. It's for tourists who are on a tour usually from the cruise ships. This part of the beach is open for others, unless tourists are here.

Just a little taste of heaven, got some lounges on the beach with lots of vendors and services. I am told some of the best snorkeling anywhere! So many different kinds of activities offered. You can rent boats, deep sea fishing, rafts etc. This island is very small but we enjoyed out time there. Friendly local people.

We visited last week and are so happy we did end up going!! We had a party of 12 and had an amazing time here!!! The ride was only 30 minutes from the port, was really an interesting ride. (Makes you appreciate what you have) There are plenty of lounge chairs and shade, beach is beautiful and the snorkelling was... More

I discovered this beach one month ago when I had taking another cruise and was snorkeling there from the sail boat. It appeared to be very attractive place for me because of the beautiful corals and crystal water. Therefore, the last time when I was on Western Caribbean Cruise I decided to come to this beach again to snorkel. Those... More

First, we did enjoy our stroll up and down the Tabyana Beach during our NCL Jade cruise stop. But next time we are stop inn Roatan we will probably opt not to travel here and this is why. Got off the ship, turned right toward all the "vendors" which in itself was overwhelming because everyone is trying to get your... More

We visited Tabyana as part of our cruise stop in Isla Roatan. After a short ride we got the welcome area which has a few shops and also the snorkeling gear rental spot. The tour guides gave us an overview of the area and its amenities and from there we signed the waivers for our snorkeling gear. Note this was... More

This is a private beach tucked in between two condo developments (Infinity Bay Condos and the Grand Roatan) on the south end of West Bay, but you wouldn't know once you get inside. Lots of palm trees and lounge chairs. Very few people the day we were there Jan 26th. We were initially a little concerned about our valuables (ID's,... More

We cruised on Carnival Magic and decided to go on the Gumbalimba and Tabyana Beach excursion. We spent the morning at Gumbalimba and arrived at Tabyana around 11:00. They had recliners available for us, and lockers were available for a fee. There are changing facilities too. They provided security watching over our stuff when we were in the water, and... More

This was the first excursion on the cruise and I had fun at the beach. I purchased a few memorable items and then went to DI for my big purchase.

The sand was compact - so easy to access for my mom with limited mobility. Massage on the beach! Hair braiding and many other activities. We sat in one of many lounge chairs and were served drinks (for a charge and gratuities). Rented a mask, snorkel, and fins and the wonderful young man accompanied me out to show me the... More
