I spent the day of my 50th birthday on Tabyana Beach with my husband. It couldn't have been a more perfect day. The beach is absolutely gorgeous...clear, calm water...soft sand...beautiful palm trees. A Carnival Valor Cruise Ship excursion took us to Roatan and I'm so happy we chose Tabyana Beach. The bus ride to the beach from dock was about... more

Tabyana beach's sand is clean and soft in cream color. The water is nice, fresh, crystal clear in aquamarine color. This is one of the nicest andmost relaxing beaches in the world. There are a few vendors but they are not insistent or annoying. We did not see any reef for snorkeling here. Snorkeling shoud be done at West Bay... more

Pristine beach and breathtaking snorkeling 20 ft into the water, this is the place. Facilities were great. I'm a fairly $$$ conscience traveler, so here are the numbers: 30-minute massages $25, beers $3 local / $4 imports, buffet $15. We brought our own snorkel gear, but rentals $15. Beach chairs under the shade of palms or beachside. Soft sand and... more

This was a spectacular beach with beautiful white sands, crystal blue waters, and numerous fish to see. Great swimming for the whole family, very shallow and warm. The bus ride over to it was a mini-excursion in itself, as it gave a little preview of the island. We went early, so had no problem finding chairs or renting snorkel equipment.... more

I went to this beach as a cruise excursion on the Carnival Valor. The snorkeling was VERY nice. So many fish to see! And great coral reefs. I would suggest bringing your own equipment since they rented out all their gear in the first hour or so. more

This is a sensation and magnificent beach, Tayabana Beach I suggest for $10 people, spend the day at the Mayan Princess hotel there It is a great location, spectacular water, and the best snorkeling around, better than Belize as there as so many variety of fish to see. The fee includes a beach chaise, restrooms swimming pool and umbrella. There... more

Just returned from cruise with Norwegian Pearl. We booked our excursion through Norwegian to go to the Tabyana Beach Party. Had a great time! The bus ride out was nice seeing the countryside. The bus driver stopped a couple of times for pictures. The beach is beautiful with crystal clear water and fine, sandy beach. One of the workers told... more

We sailed to Roatan on Carnival Legend on 1/30/09. Getting off the ship we were approached by numerous cab offers. A man offered to take us to a zipline and Tabyana beach for $40. Within 30 seconds a woman offered to do the same for $30, so the first fellow dropped his price to match. After we agreed, I told... more

The only reason I didn't give this one a better rating, was the fact that everything on this beach costs something. I live near the beach in Charleston, SC, and thank God we have no beaches like this one. The whole idea to have to pay someone to use a chair confuses me. Why not be nice and not charge... more

We just returned from a 7-day cruise on Carnival. I did some checking and decided to take the family to Tabyana Beach (which is really just one end of West Bay Beach). We took a cab to the beach which cost just $30 for all 6 of us and told the driver to come back at a certain time, which... more
