Perfect location to lay around on the beach, simply walk into the water and follow the guide thru the reef. Take a water proof camera and it is the best location to snorkel I have been to. Always wear water shoes, my husband stepped on a bristle worm while walking the beach, swelling up his foot but he was okay... More

From port, you take a van across the island to this somewhat private beach. Hopefully, your bus will be one of the early ones and you can have your choice of chairs to call "home base." SUN AVOIDERS: Please note there is PLENTY OF SHADY AREAS to choose from where you are still fairly close to the water and are... More

We visited Tabyana beach from our cruise. The snorkeling was better here than at some of the other destinations. The beach was pristine and very relaxing with gorgeous palm trees everywhere. The small stores were quite nice and the people were very friendly. There was a guard there watching over our bags while we snorkeled so we really felt safe... More

My partner and I spent a day in Tabyana Beach while on our NCL cruise to the Western Caribbean. Personally, I found the price for the shore excursion very, very steep for each person. However, given that there was hardly anything to do in Roatan except to go swimming and do water sports, we signed up for this shore excursion.... More

White sandy beach with lots of chairs. Water was crystal clear. Food and drinks were affordable and we had friendly service.

Beautiful white sand beach with crystal clear water. Friendly people. Food/drink available. There were quite a few beach goers but it wasn't terribly crowded. We were on a cruise excursion and would definitely visit again.

Beautifully maintained, Clean Beach. Get there early as when the cruise ships come into port, the beach fills up fast. The water is so clear you can see a multitude of fish, even at the end of the lengthy pier.

Beautiful white sand. Beautiful blue water. Very relaxing. Drinks and food were excellent and well priced. Service was excellent as well. Terry was our server. Very accommodating. Albert was our security guard for our area. Very friendly, polite and eager to share the culture of Honduras. There were snorkel guides you could hire for tips. My husband spoke with and... More

I purchased this as part of a Gumbalimba Park excursion from Carnival Cruise Lines. This beach was supposed to be a private beach, but there were a lot of locals there aggressively trying to talk you into buying their goods/services. We rented snorkel gear and went snorkeling. You have to go out quite a ways to get to the good... More

Beautiful beach looking west, white sand, awesome. $3 water taxi to West End. Very nice beach! You can find all kinds of activities here. Paddle boards, snorkleing tours further out (however it is not necessary) several bars to grab a beer or sandwich. Go to the furthest south on the beach and snorkle around "Black Rock", it is the house... More
