The Tabyana Beach resort has a beautiful beach and outstanding reef snorkeling. The facility has covered, comfortable eating areas and a nice lunch. There are restrooms on site as well. The best part of the Tabyana Beach is the snorkeling. Guides will lead you directly from the beach to the reef. It is no more that 50 yards from the... More

Our afternoon visit to Tabyana Beach was the second half of a shore excursion from the Norwegian Pearl which included Gumbalimba Park in the morning. On arrival, we had the lunch buffet of BBQ chicken, coleslaw, beans, a roll, papaya, and pineapple, plus a selection of soft drinks. It was good. For anyone wanting alcoholic beverages, there was bar area... More

We came to Roatan on the Princess Caribbean. After reading a lot of positive reviews about this beach and especially the snorkeling, we decided we wanted to visit Tabyana Beach. After docking, we first spent approx an hour at Mahogany Bay (MBay is right next to where the Princess cruise ship docked). We snorkeled and enjoyed the beach at MBay... More

We visited Tabyana Beach while we were in Roatan on the Norwegian Pearl on 3/30. Let me start by saying that I would have given this an EXCELLENT, if it were not for the annoying vendors that come at you every single time you go to the water. The owners of the property should REALLY do something about that. Its... More

I was astonished by the sheer beauty of this natural beach. I love the sand, the fish and the friendly staff. It gets kind of annoying being bombarded by the people who are selling activities. Speaking of activities everything cost... everything but I guess that is the small price to pay for such a beautiful beach.

Excursions via Carnival Cruise I recommend it as the trip comes with your own security guard so you can watch the fishes and not worry about your valuables.

Tabyana Beach is a made up name for what is actually West Bay Beach. Cruise lines call it this so it looks like this is someplace special you can only book through them. West Bay Beach, though, is an awesome beach and a great way to spend a day in Roatan. We visited there just two weeks ago and loved... More

Visited a few times from the cruise port. This is a beautiful place and is hard to beat! Great water, good snorkeling, friendly people, great local beer selection! Our children love this place! The vendors that walk the beach are friendly and not pushy. There ate a few different restaurants to visit...FRESH seafood! Ordered 'fish fingers', great surprise to find... More
