Because they are a part of the Okarito Community, Paula was able to find us a bach when we'd heard that there was no available accommodation at the time we needed it.

This kayak rental was the highlight of my trip on the west Coast. The setting of the lagoon is abolutely gorgeous, and the equipment is top-notch, which is not always the case with kayak rentals. I could not give this attraction a higher rating. A must-do in the Franz Josef area.

A great place for novice Kayaks as you paddle along the lagoon and into its tributaries. It's a birdwatchers paradise.
