There are various operators here and you need to be careful to understand exactly what you are going to get for your money. Maybe shop around. We used 'the Captain' or some such name and paid 7,000 rupees. This turned out to be a very bad deal. Our boat broke down and 20 minutes of our hour was stationary. After... More

This river safari is way overrated for what it is. There is nothing much to see except some trees, birds and a water monitor... all pretty basic. The boats are using gasoline and you will end up inhaling the smokes for an hour journey. The boat driver will stop at few little islands which is nothing than encouraging tourists to... More

The boat ride was just amazing, we could sight some water monitors. Our tour guide took us to few islands along the way. It was full of fun and excitement.

I enjoyed every minute of my 17 day stay in the Christian Mountain Villa. I appreciate especially the friendly people, the very good treatment and the special treats such as the boattrip on the Madu River. I plann to go back early 2017.

The only good attraction in this is the fish massage. Rest is just sitting in a boat and roaming through the mini island. Not much to expect. So the for amount of money that you would spend my recommendation is to skip this unless you want to buy in some time and some fish massage.
