It was a nice experience on the way back. Went on the usual boat ride which takes you to a couple islands. There is a historical temple, a demonstration on cinnamon peeling and a fish massage. We enjoyed the fish massage thoroughly as a first time experience. It was nice to get 100s of Mozambique fish biting and cleaning your... More

We were a group of 6 people with a varied ages from 73 to 2 years old. All people on board were entertained and happy with the 1.5 hour tour. The temple island and the cinnamon island were the highlights as were the fish pedicure. Cost should be somewhere in the neighbourhood of 2500 per person.

My friend and I were quoted 50 USD for the 2 of us for a boat ride by our hotel owner at Kadolana Eco Village (I don't necessarily recommend that hotel, though it looked nice, and probably had one of the BEST meals we had outside of Talalla Resort in Talalla...). That seemed high so we told him we would... More

The famous boat rides at Madu River or to the nearby turtle hatchery. The hotel has a wide variety of food, which is very tasty

We saw plenty of rivers as we travelled around but this one you can get close to, it seems clean and river safari we took to the wet lands was great. Loved seeing all the Irish boats donated after the Tsanami with people and place names on. The little beach where it joins the ocean is fabulous but watch the... More

It was all good though we did not opt to have our feet nibbled by the fish. Beautiful sun rise and seeing the birds still roosting. The visit to the cinnamon was interesting and the oil was worth buying.
