I was a bit concerned by some of the negative reviews, I really don't like being hassled to buy stuff (spice island) or pay to hold an animal etc. So when we got on the boat we... read more

This safari constitues 64 natural islands...Mangrove caves are pretty nice when you go through them. Get to see animals as water monitor lizards, birds, and fishing nets. Fish spa is also an option for interested people. One has to be careful when choosing the boat, and negotiate hard, else there is a huge possibility of being taken for a ride.

I was a bit concerned by some of the negative reviews, I really don't like being hassled to buy stuff (spice island) or pay to hold an animal etc. So when we got on the boat we were pretty explicit about what we wanted to do and not do. We were the only people on our boat which may have... More

The actual river cruise was OK but not alot to particularly see. It was more interesting when we stopped at an island and watched what people created with coconut hair, cinnamon sticks etc.

Really unprofessional. They told us we would see a bunch of sites like the temple and cinnamon island. Then they gave us a boat guide who spoke no English. He turned around quickly. We were supposed to be out for an hour. We were out for 30 minutes. They said the water level was too high. They could have told... More

It was a nice experience on the way back. Went on the usual boat ride which takes you to a couple islands. There is a historical temple, a demonstration on cinnamon peeling and a fish massage. We enjoyed the fish massage thoroughly as a first time experience. It was nice to get 100s of Mozambique fish biting and cleaning your... More

We were a group of 6 people with a varied ages from 73 to 2 years old. All people on board were entertained and happy with the 1.5 hour tour. The temple island and the cinnamon island were the highlights as were the fish pedicure. Cost should be somewhere in the neighbourhood of 2500 per person.
