Stopped here on a full day tour. Went here first, would highly recommend this as the first group of the day is smallest and you can get through everyone quicker. Staff is very helpful, with your safety in mind. The harnasses do hurt. They have water for you along the way. Before you head out and when you arrive back... More

I came to Congo Trail as part of a one-day tour from my hotel. I loved zip lining here! There are many white-faced monkeys, which you will see as soon as you walk into the main complex. The guides were great. They kept us safe and joked around often to keep the atmosphere light - great for those who were... More

We brought our niece to Costa Rica for her high school graduation, so we were looking for various ways to entertain her. This place definitely fit the bill. We were the only ones on the mountain, so there were no lines and no waiting, and the guides were awesome. They even put my husband at ease and got him to... More

We came for the zip lining and got to do about 45 minutes of various lines. The tour guides were fast and made it very fun. I even got to do one zip line upside down and one superman style! Another family we rode in with did the atv excursion, so we had quite the long wait until our can... More

Definitely do the extreme option! It was so worth it. $70 total for about 3 hours of fun. The staff was friendly and it was very safe.

If this is the one with slide, volcano bath and zip linning... this was amazing. The slide uses cold volcano water that propels you for long ride down the mountain and the volcano baths are really good followed by pools heated by the volcano.

If you want to go zip lining near RIU Guanacaste and RIU Palace (about 15 minutes), The Congo Trail Canopy Tour is for you! We didn't go zip lining, but we paid $5 each to hold monkeys.

If you are staying in the Playa Grande/Tamarindo area and do not want to travel hours into the rainforest for zipling, this is your place. Our group of 12 friends went and had a blast. This is a family owned business and the guys who run the lines are funny really made it made our visit with them a good... More

We stayed at Riu Palace and this was the closest zip lining place which was one thing missing from our other tours so did this. Overall a good experience and workout. Guys who led our group were knowledgeable. The picture dvd package seemed too expensive but then again it's a tourist place and we don't do zip lining everyday.

We got a ride from the riu palace and it was about 15 minutes. The cost for transport and entrance into the animal rescue was only $20 per person. There were 5 or 6 Capuchin monkeys, 2 howler monkeys, 2 spider monkeys, several different birds and a lot of snakes, including a giant boa! They let me feed all of... More
