Morne Anglais is a superb hike - you start from about 1,8000ft above the village of Giraudel, and climb through lush rainforest to the top. There are spectacular views from the summit (it's alost 4,000ft), and fortunately it's far less often shrouded in clouds than taller mountain in Dominica.
