I went with my mother for my 20th Birthday (sad I know, however I have been wanting to paint a teapot for ages!...old lady at heart) when we went there the place didn't look very clean, one lady explained everything to us, but after a quick chat and showing us our table she went, the other staff looked miserable and... I took my Mum out for the day, and as she has never painted pottery, this was the first stop. We had a wonderful afternoon painting mugs - the instructor of the paint was friendly and informative, and we were left with full access to a range of paints and effects, and could quite happily muddle along in our creative... This is another amazing concept but the staff ruin this whole experience - the main lady is rude and off-hand and un-helpful. The items themselves are expensive so for little ones it is probably just too match cash really. It's a shame because the friend I went with had planned to have a party for 10 here later In The... All ages will enjoy being creative in this little treasure trove. Can be expensive if you get carried away - but these costs can be managed if you visit in a group & share kiln time. Great for children & adults alike, though I didn't dare take my kids there until they were a little older - about 5-6 &... More

attentive staff who help out the children when they are doing their designs to make sure they come out ok. good for parties and a decent cuppa if you are sat there keeping the kids company. great for arty and creative kids

A great place to be creative for not just kids, but adults as well. With a great range of pottery to paint, I can never decide on what to choose. Unfortunately, only a few members of staff helped us and actually looked like the wanted to be there. However, the other staff members looked bored and unwilling. The food and snacks... More

We visited the pottery project and I have very mixed feelings. We all had fun painting our pottery pieces and one member of staff was helpful with showing us what to do, where the pieces of equipment are etc etc BUT the other staff were rather grumpy. The toilets had not been cleaned recently and the nappy bins were full,... More

Nice to create something in a relaxed and friendly environment not only for kids but adults as well. Have been there on several occasions. Serves food and beverages at reasonable rates. Planned to have lunch there but was so busy we left so more people would have the opportunity to be creative. Staff are willing to help if undecided on... More

Went on a school day with a friend, when it was very quiet. Found the experience very calming and therapeutic! Painted a beautiful picture frame with Autumn leaves. Have also been in school holidays with daughters and they also enjoyed it. Prices are a bit high so only go on special occasions.

we really enjoyed our recent visit here while visiting family in the area. I found the staff to be very friendly despite being very busy, they were excellent with my kids and couldn't have done much more to make us feel welcome. There is a good selection of pottery to choose from and the coffee isn't bad either! We will... More
