About 70 KMS from Yeswantpur on Tumkur road, Devarayan durga is a charming hillock attraction. It has 2 temples between the base and summit of the hill. This place is a nice one day trip from Bangalore. I was here with my wife in December 2014. From Bangalore head towards Tumkur, once you reach Dobbespet, take a right turn under the highway bridge towards Devarayana Durga. From Dobbespet it's around 20 km. Absolutely scenic and beautiful, worth a picnic spot, best time to visit Nov to Jan. less than 100 kms from bangalore, historic place with fort on top of the hillock and very good. Food has to be arranged on your won and transport too.

I visited this place with my friends as a bike ride. The journey was superb there is very good road facility is there. Its a vey calm place unlike shivagange. It is on the way to mahalakshmi temple..can be visited if you are travelling to Goravanahalli....you can drive after that you have to walk........................
