Somaemul island is one of the 3 islands collectively called Maemul islands. It is connected to the lighthouse island by a waterway that only opens twice a way for people to walk through when the tide is low. one of the islands further out from Tongyeong. At low tide you can walk over to Little Mamil island, too. Some nice hiking paths to spend time on to enjoy the scenery. You should go to Maemul Islet on a cruise from Port Tongnyeong. There are several trails you can hike there. Also, there is Little Maemul Islet nearby. A small island that's about a 3-hour boat ride from Tongyeong Ferry Terminal. There are 2 trips to and from the island, that makes a total of 4 trips per day.
