We booked ourselves onto the Molokini snorkeling tour. Book online because it's cheaper. If you go to the Ma'alaea harbor and book in person ask the person serving you if they can "do a better price" and if they're nice they should give you the online price. For us it was about USD$80 per adult. Due to weather they cancelled... More

The PWF offers a truly memorable experience in Maui!. They offer several Eco/Nature blue water tours in the Maui-Lahaina area that are guided by genuine marine biologists and nature lovers. They do an awesome job explaining the natural ecosystem of the blue ocean waters of the bay. You're almost guarantee you will see hundreds of dolphins, large sea turtles and,... More

It was really cool to snorkel at the Molokini crater - the water was clear and teeming with fish...and other snorkelers. This excursion was marketed to us as being more advantageous as you may snorkel "off the beaten track" and you are on a smaller boat with less than 40 people. It is more expensive than most other snorkel tours... More

My grandson attended Ocean camp for 3 days on our latest trip to Maui (It was only 3 days because are trip started the last week of camp). They had fun activities that they did everyday (they went to a farm, went surfing and went snorkeling to Molokini) plus they had crafts they did and he also learned a few... More

Huge fun! If you have more than four in your group it's probably worth it to just join the PWF for the discount! (Abt $45/pp for the cruise) We joined. Also, it will get you on the boat first if you are a PWF member. The MD Reggae is only offered on Fridays at this time. Nice clean and stable... More

We recently took the Pacific Whale Foundation's early morning (7 am) snorkeling trip from Lahaina up the coast to Honolua bay. We loved this trip. It was affordable (compared to other like trips). Most importantly, we had a great time. The captain and his crew were awesome, and the catamaran trip was a real pleasure. They used the catamaran engine... More

I really wanted to give the Pacific Whale Foundation an excellent rating because I love their work and their cause but . . . My family of 8 booked a snorkeling trip to Molokini at the price of around $75-$100 per person (don't remember exactly). On the day of the excursion, we were loaded onto the boat and taken to... Took the morning snorkel trip out of Lahaina to Lanai. The staff was great from the minute we stepped on board. Always interacting with the passengers with great information. We found a pod of dolphins that hung around the boat for a while which was awesome!! Snorklng near the island was beautiful and we even saw the resident sea turtle!... More

Our family really enjoyed our snorkel trip to Molokini. We opted for a non alcohol Monday trip which suited us well. We left the Kihei area about 6:30 AM for an 8:00 AM departure (but we were early). The snorkel gear was provided on board the boat and everything you needed was there. We opted to rent our snorkel gear... More

If you care about the ocean and its living beings AND you don't want to fill the pockets of commercials boats PLUS you want to educate yourself and your children about ocean awareness, I highly recommend Pacific Whale Foundations Molokai (or any other, such as the turtle or the Lanikai Island Coast) trip. You can also support the Foundation with... More
