We happened upon this snorkel excursion after ours had been cancelled from another company. Since our original tour was cancelled due to bad waters, we were worried that we were not going to get to go snorkeling on the last day of our trip to Maui. This trip with the PWF saved the day! :) Catherine and Jesse were our... More

I read some poor reviews about this tour and was a little apprehensive at first but the tour was very good. The boat we went on holds 100+ people, but there were just over 50 on our tour. We were not able to visit Lanai to snorkel as the south swell was much to large, a bit of a shame... More

Booked a snorkel and whale watching trip via Pacific Whale Foundation as a cruise ship excursion and found it to be quite good. My first impressions of the crew that they were kind of disinterested in their passengers, but in retrospect I believe that this was simply their approach to whipping a new group in shape. The boat was well... More

Before boarding the Adventurer with Skipper Craig and Naturalist Sharon, we were informed that we would be having a complete circumnavigation of the island of Lanai'i. Needless to say, my wife and I were elated. Though too rough to snorkel Shipwreck, we anchored at Five Sisters and had perhaps the most spectacular snorkeling of our lives. Visibility was over 100'... More

My April 23 whale watching cruise was very enjoyable. It was my first time whale watching and the running commentary provided by the pilot made me always aware of what we were doing and what we were about to do and why. Also, the naturalists on board presented an excellent overview of whale behavior and so although I already knew... More

Wonderful time on the Quest with Pacific Whale Foundation. Large vessel, not over crowded, tables for dining with service right to your table, plenty of time to snorkel at Lanai. The crew members were all knowledgeable, courteous, and service oriented. I would recommend PWF cruises to everyone and especially those families with children. PWF always has something special to offer... More

My wife and I took a whale watching tour out of Maalaea, and while we didn't see any whales (it was toward the end of the whale season, so it was a 50/50 shot), we did get to see some turtles up close, beautiful scenery, learned a lot about whales and the islands of Maui, and enjoyed the relaxation of... Outstanding group of people that work on the boat- so helpful and knowledgeable and friendly. We did the Molokini Crater and Lanaii snorkel- unfortunately we didn't see any dolphins or whales the day we went out- but beautiful snorkeling! And the price is so reasonable- so excellent value. This was my first time snorkeling also, so very helpful for first... More

I took the Dolphin Watch Raft trip, a 3-hour trip the first one of the morning. Apparently no one wants to get up early while on vacation in Hawaii because there were only 5 of us on the boat (I took the earliest trip of the day). It was great - we went over around Lana'i, which has very dramatic... More
