We go where only a couple of the other large stable boats can, past Dolphin Cove, where a pod of spinner dolphins live. Along the way, we almost always see the endangered green sea turtles and during the months between December and April, the awesome humpback whales. The weather dictates our snorkel sites and destinations. We snorkel at two or more spots. The possibilities include the marine preserve Molokini, the rugged Kanaio Coast, La Perouse, Turtle Arches, and the beautiful Coral Gardens. In between our stops our crew will share their knowledge of the ancient history and cultural practices and whatever nature and her beauty have in store for us, you can be sure it will be exciting! (Licensed for 71 passengers, we will take only a small group for maximum comfort with no more than 45 passengers per excursion.)We first serve you a continental breakfast featuring fresh bagels with cream cheese, jams, tropical fruit, Kona coffee and juices. Once we get to our second snorkel site, the crew fires up the barbeque for a delicious hot-off-the grill lunch. Your choice of hamburgers, veggie burgers, hot dogs, chips and cookies. We feature an open bar of beer, wine and sodas. All of your snorkel gear and instruction are provided. Disposable 35mm underwater cameras are available for purchase on board and we have optional SNUBA dives for an additional $59, to the instructor. « less

It was a nice boat ride and snorkeling trip. We toured the ocean looking for dolphins near La Perouse bay. Then, we snorkeled at Molokini for about 1/2 hour or so, then off to turtle cove, where we really did snorkel with a couple of sea turtles. The food was good and the crew was great! More

We choose Maui Magic for our snorkelling adventure because we wanted to be on a smaller boat and we couldn't have chosen better. The boat took 45 passengers but there were less than half that on the day we went making it even more special as the crew was able to spend a lot more time chatting with everyone aboard.... More

WaThe crew was helpful and friendly. They went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The trip was, however, the usual over priced tourist attraction. If you wanted to Snuba (three of our party did) it was $60 per person for twenty minutes. It was not the most amazing thing they ever did. For the price, I would... More

I really can't say enough about how great our trip on Maui Magic was. After deciding we wanted to go on a boat trip, my first concern with taking a trip was whether or not the food would be. Both the Breakfast and Lunch served were fresh, delicious and plentiful. Breakfast was a large fruit platter, bagels, coffee and other... More

I picked the Maui Magic because it's smaller and faster than most out there... I didn't want to be one of 100 snorkelers, and this did the trick! I'd say there was about 25 people on the boat, and the staff could (and did) spend time with anyone who asked - even taking pictures for us on the ride! We... More

I have read a lot of the review on Maui Magic and their snorkel tour to Molokina. This review is more about what you will not see than what you will see. The Maui Magic and her crew are great people, boat is clean and fast and gets you to Molokina fast...question is why bother to snorkel at Molokina at... More

Aloha Rallyone, We are so sorry that the tour you took on our Maui Magic catamaran was not what you had expected. I am glad to hear that the boat and our crew were doing their jobs well but it sounds like the ocean experience was disappointing for you. Usually we get to see so many wonderful things on our... We LOVED the day on the Maui Magic for snorkeling and Snuba! The crew is so friendly and accomodating and the food is extra plentiful with something available to eat all day. The burgers were better than the famous Cool Cat Cafe burgers in Lahaina! The boat is clean and beautiful and there is a second level if you want... More

My two children ages 16 and 19 went snorkling and SNUBAing on the Maui Magic and it was one of the best snorkel trips I have taken. The boat is smaller, so fewer people. The crew was friendly and knowledgeable. The equipment up to date. We did enjoy the SNUBA experience as well. Would highly recommend Maui Magic. More

My 11 year old daughter and I just returned from the Dolphin Discovery trip on the Maui Magic with Captain Buzz. We could not have had a better time. The crew was beyond friendly and made us feel right at home from the second we arrived. Breakfast was served and we were off to find dolphins on the way to... More
